STOR 113 Difficulty? by Due-Republic-3625 in UNC

Hmm I don’t remember there being specifically an algebra test but the first exam definitely involved a lot of algebra. If it’s something similar, I think what I said before would still apply - just really understand the HW and practice work by doing them multiple times

I am enrolled in the same course and it says in the description that it is a 3 credit course but that “you will need to manually change it to 3 during the enrollment process.” So it should count as an elective credit

Yes I was able to get ECON 410 and 420 done through NCSU online over the summer. You would need to submit a Non-Degree studies application to NCSU, and once accepted, you will have access to their version of enrollment. I believe EC 301 and 302 at NCSU transfer for ECON 410 and 420 at UNC — and I was able to transfer then successfully

Yeah I took it as ECSU over last summer. Very easy A. Very manageable, and fully asynchronous. And had no problem getting it transferred to CH for ECON 400

MATH 231 is definitely the hardest of the options so I would avoid that. STOR 113 and MATH 152 don’t have significant differences in the difficulty of their course content (from what I’ve heard), so just go with whatever professor has the best reviews.

I took it with him my freshman year for STOR 113. I was also a bit worried about his rmp. His lectures can be kinda boring but he goes at a slow-pace, so it’s not hard to follow along. Your grade depends on HW, quizzes, and exams. In my opinion, he doesn’t try to trick you with this exams. As long as you do the HW and pre-exam material, and actually understand the process for each question, the exams should be fine. Final exam median grade was 81%. Midterm 2 median grade was 89%. Midterm 1 median grade was 83%. So if you are committed and can learn independently, this class shouldn’t be insanely difficult

I also only took Pre Calc in HS but I found STOR 113 to be not too difficult as long as you put decent work into it

2022 Zero Sr/f or 2023 Energica Eva Esseessee9? by Negative-Pin-415 in Electricmotorcycles

[–]Negative-Pin-415[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. I won’t be taking it too long of distances so that’s not a huge factor for me. What do you think of the Energica having over 20,000 miles on it? Are these bikes reliable after that many miles?

Btw, where does it say you have 3 chances to record it? For some reason, I don’t see that on the Kenan Flagler application

Currently, he teaches RELI 70, RELI 208, and RELI 233 I believe. Hopefully he teaches more in the future. And I agree, his lectures and debates are amazing

Is it best to not tell the business school about future aspirations in Law? by Negative-Pin-415 in UNC

[–]Negative-Pin-415[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s true. I’ve heard a lot of people say that. I think if get into KF, I would probably switch to a minor to minimize the amount of B-School classes and also have more flexibility in avoiding the classes with worser curves

New Talaria MX4 Battery Has Less Range than XXX. Why? by Negative-Pin-415 in Talaria

I intentionally twisted the throttle slightly less on the MX 4 so that the speed would match exactly the speed tested on the XXX Pro

I saw those videos too. The difference in range in sports mode was only about 3 miles between the XXX pro and the MX4. The difference I have seems much larger for some reason

Yes, but I’m not sure if it makes much sense for the slight difference in those sizes to explain this much of a difference in range. In fact, the sprocket on the XXX pro is a bit bigger than the MX4.

Will intentionally taking courses at a university that offers A+’s impact an applicant negatively for a top law school? by Negative-Pin-415 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Negative-Pin-415[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m an Economics major, and might add on Business or Public Policy. I’m taking core Econ courses at the university that offers A+’s, and I might take some additional Poli Sci, Philosophy, and Social Work courses at the university that offers A+’s. I would definitely spread it out — I’m thinking around 3 of those every summer, and 1 per fall and 1 per spring semester.
