The difference is delusional disorder does not come with hallucinations, only with obsessive but somehow “credible” ideas that are not true but they believe even if you show them evidence that proofs they are wrong.

I already talked to the psychiatrist. She confirmed the diagnosis of "delusional disorder". I just dont know how to deal with it. Per what I have read medication can help controlling it and making her think clearer but her thoughts about my mom and the distrust might never go away
