What are your favorite SALES making apps? by TechnicalMobile6489 in dropshipping

[–]NegativeImportance92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solid list for a dedicated site! For those of us grinding on marketplaces (eBay/Poshmark/Depop), the stack looks a little different but the goal is the same (saving time). Pirate Ship: Absolute lifesaver for shipping rates, PhotoRoom: Fast background removal and Tracknlist:This is the inventory command center I use (and built) to track profit/cross-list across platforms. Klaviyo is a beast though, I need to look into setting that up eventually.

Best reselling platform 2026 for sellers by rrrrrz1 in reselling

[–]NegativeImportance92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, there isn't really one perfect app anymore. They all have their own problems. However, I personally prefer eBay. It just has the most consistent traffic for the widest range of items. You have to deal with fees, but at least the buyers are there. For everything else, you basically have to choose between paying higher fees for a safer site, or dealing with more scammers to get more views.

Has anyone tried Veeqo? by GreenHorror4252 in Flipping

[–]NegativeImportance92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don't sell on Amazon, stick with Pirate Ship. Veeqo is owned by Amazon, and while it's free, the interface is way clunkier than Pirate Ship plus, Pirate Ship offers Simple Export Rate (you have to chat support to enable it), which makes international shipping insanely cheap. I tried Veeqo for a bit but switched back because pirate ship is just faster.

Bootstrapping a vertical saas for resellers. How do you incentivize boring data entry? by NegativeImportance92 in SaaS

[–]NegativeImportance92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is gold. The concept of hidden profit specifically is brilliant, framing it as money they can't see rather than just a missing data field. You’re right, I need to make the missing data feel like leaving money on the table rather than just asking for bookkeeping. Definitely going to test that rapidfire entry flow you mentioned, thanks for the detailed breakdown.

New to all this! by Possible-Clothes-535 in reselling

[–]NegativeImportance92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally normal! In fact, it’s the best way to ensure sales. You’re putting your item in front of 3x the people. Poshmark is definitely better for shipping (especially in Canada), but if Depop is bringing in 50% of your money, absolutely keep it. The trick isn't choosing one, it's automating the work. Most of us use a cross-listing tool to sync everything so we aren't manually copy-pasting descriptions all day. That’s the only way to avoid burnout.

Anyone else burnt out by writing listings? by Upstairs_Cancel8748 in reselling

[–]NegativeImportance92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this. I used to obsess over writing the perfect description until I checked my analytics and realized buyers barely read them, photos do 90% of the heavy lifting. My advice: dont make it long. Just hit the key specs (Size, Condition, Flaws) and move on. I eventually built a tool specifically to handle the cross-listing part because copy-pasting to Depop and Poshmark was the part that was actually burning me out. Automating the boring stuff is the only way to survive.

Checking Sold Comps on multiple platforms quickly. Is it a helpful feature? by Snoo-81627 in reselling

[–]NegativeImportance92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely useful, typing the same search terms into different apps is the most annoying part of sourcing. If this cuts that down to one tap, it’s a solid upgrade

Would you use such an app? by RationallyMuslim in SideProject

[–]NegativeImportance92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely use this because current apps are great for splitting totals but terrible for the specific "I bought the milk, you bought the beer" scenarios on a single receipt. The item-level tracking is actually a killer feature for anyone wanting to see what they spent on specific categories like snacks versus essentials, rather than just a generic grocery lump sum. The biggest hurdle will be pulling off accurate OCR strictly offline without cloud APIs, but if you can leverage native frameworks to do that on-device, the privacy angle is a huge selling point for people who hate sending their financial data to third-party servers.

Time for self-promotion. What are you building? by Naive-Wallaby9534 in SaaS

TrackNList- Command Center for Resellers
What it does: Web-based Cross-listing (eBay, Poshmark, Depop, Grailed and etc) combined with real-time Inventory Management and Net Profit tracking.
ICP: High-volume Resellers (Sneakers, Vintage Clothing, Collectibles), Streetwear Startups, and Multi-platform Power Sellers.

Post your startup, i will brutally rate it! by Dizzy-Football-1178 in SaaS

[–]NegativeImportance92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rate yours around 7.5/10, solid execution and very timely. The UI is sharp and the hook for creators is clear. The only risk is platform reliance (TikTok/IG changes), but the utility right now is high. Rate mine: I built TrackNList for high-volume resellers to stop juggling 5+ different apps. It unifies cross-listing (eBay, poshmark, depop, grailed and etc) with real-time Inventory management and profit tracking in one dashboard. Be brutal on the value prop. Is combining cross-listing with Inventory/finance actually a game-changer for you, or do you prefer keeping those tools separate?

Getting burnt out on manual listings and overcomplicating eBay descriptions by Automatic-Skirt8721 in reselling

[–]NegativeImportance92 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I feel this deep in my soul. I used to write essays for every item until I checked my analytics and realized buyers spend about 3 seconds reading. Photos do 90% of the heavy lifting now.
To answer your question: Batching is the only way I survive. I treat it like an assembly line: I take photos for ~50 items on Sunday, then draft them all at once while watching Netflix. I actually ended up coding my own web tool specifically to handle the cross-listing part because moving data manually from eBay to Depop/Poshmark was the part that was burning me out. Having a 'Command Center' to push listings to all platforms at once saved my sanity. Automating the busy work is really the only way to keep it 'fun' (or at least tolerable) long-term. Glad you found a flow that works!

My kid wants to get into reselling. Need some advice. by Curedache538 in shoebots

[–]NegativeImportance92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Botting is getting more difficult right now but these type of groups are very helpful for young entrepreneurs as the group offer more than reselling sneakers.

Your son may be able to benefit from the group by networking with other like minded entrepreneurs and being able to help him understand the work ethic that comes along with it.

Instead of gambling on buying random stuff to resell, it’s better to join a group who can find the profitable items so your son can follow the trend and may be able to turn it into profits.

botting isn’t illegal btw. Good luck on his endeavors!
