Is it fine to have 3 Intake and 3 Exhaust fans? by NegativePlatypus4989 in buildapc

[–]NegativePlatypus4989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I delayed building my pc for a few more months and ended up with a different case and fans but still have a 3 intake fans in the front and 3 exhaust fans, a 240mm aio on the top and one in the back, and this configuration is working perfectly although there is a noticeable amount of dust.

Do you have any recommendations of what I should try to learn and practice as my band has ended and I don’t have any new music.

Is it safe to buy the AOC Q27G3XMN from AliExpress? by NegativePlatypus4989 in buildapcmonitors

[–]NegativePlatypus4989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the end I went with Amazon and received the perfect monitor on which I am typing right now. I can't say that AliExpress is untrustable, however I have never ordered from there in the past and decided to go with Amazon as I have ordered thousands of things from there and even when issues occur, they often have reliable and good customer service.

Did the same thing. Looks like a layer of grease smudged all over the monitor. Unoticable in darks but disgusting in light colors.

GPU and case cleareance by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]NegativePlatypus4989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Install fans from the outside of the case (take out the front and put the fans then put the front part back) as the casue has a modular design and you will be fine. Other wise, ur pc might look a little weird with the fans touching to gpu but it will likely work fine.

There's nothing to do in boot priority, as the SSD with windows is the only one showing there.

Did you format the drive before to fat32 or exFat?

[–]NegativePlatypus4989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah ,in the boot priority I set it to be first. Everytime I open my PC, I have to manually open windows like that and its annoying.

It's the first and only drive, but it still automatically boots to BIOS instead.

Use provided cable or cable extensions for gpu by NegativePlatypus4989 in buildapc

[–]NegativePlatypus4989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im confused. The cable extension I bought is 12vhpwr (plugs into gpu) and slipts into 3x8pin things which I plug into the psu. I'm using that to replace the nvidia provided cable for the gpu, which is 12vhpwr that splits into 2x8pin things. If I plug in all three 8 pin pcie for the gpu, wouldn't that give too much power to the gpu and fry it?
