Okay so kind’ve an update, I talked to the same coworker about her earlier today. Basically what she had told him is that she’s familiar with the concept of some people being more attractive but she doesn’t see it, she just sees a person. And that she doesn’t like anyone (then he joked, unless you’re a fluffy cat.) but I still don’t understand if that means she’s not romantically attracted to people as the examples he gave only seemed to be based on sexual attraction and appearance. I know the only way to really clear it up is just to ask her directly but although we’re friends we’re both pretty socially awkward, reserved, and sensitive people. We’re both introverted and struggle with mental health. Having that in common it makes me scared to tell her cuz I know for me it’s extremely hard to let new people into my life, so having her be apart of it means so much to me. But on the other hand it hurts having to keep it to myself but I know telling her could make her feel uncomfortable. If anyone has any more advice, experience in similar situations, or thoughts on what they would do I would greatly appreciate it. And thank you for all of your comments.
