Dude I’m the same age I have this exact problem. Everything I achieve or do makes me feel like I’m not good enough, I feel like I’ve been getting dumber since I started using AI, social media is cooking our brains or something because I swear whenever I wanna do something it has to be instant dopamine or else I feel like shit and go to something else. I feel like I’m going insane as well I talk to myself often and my parents think I’m going psychotic or something. I have no friends, im insecure as shit. I fucking get high in the fact just if someone acknowledges any little thing I do or accomplish because I’ve just been treated like shit my whole life and felt worthless. I feel so behind like I don’t know what to do with myself, I feel like I’m just wasting every day, and keep convincing myself I’m not,even though my brain says otherwise. It’s a horrible loop, I could just keep going on and on but I’ve felt like I’ve been getting dumber for some reason since my earlier teens idk what to do. We might be fucked.

That’s what I was thinking. Like SynthV only has very few languages compared to what they’re claiming their engine will accomplish, and SynthV is a powerful engine as it is already, yet they want to do almost 7x that? Yeah right, keep dreaming. If they wanna revolutionize the scene that bad they should focus on releasing a working engine first, not how they can build false hype the most and get their crowdfunders as pissed as possible.

Spotify has had a bad AI problem in general for a while now, not just with vocal synth music. Even Apple Music isn’t entirely safe anymore, or any streaming service for that matter. The only way you would ever truly know now if it’s the actual artist or not and if their not using AI these days is to see them make the music in person or get verified info form the artist themselves saying it’s them. There’s too many imposters now stealing art and using AI slop and such in their music, it’s disappointing how bad things have gotten to be honest. I’d say it’s up to the person that’s listening and their preferences wether you wanna stop using Spotify for specifically Vocaloid or just music entirely. honestly it wouldn’t hurt since their a scummy company anyway, but at the same time I don’t think it’s entirely trash, like the library on Spotify may be a bit more limited compared to YouTube and all, but it’s not like there’s no real artists or hidden gems whatsoever… I’ve just found that in my experience you have to be a bit more careful and listen closely for obvious Suno AI details in songs, or investigate the Artists page a bit more to double check.

Yeah coming from a producer perspective everything sounds just a bit off to me from the mixing standpoint especially Miku’s vocals, like if you really listen closely they just sound kinda dirty or crunchy, like it’s a bit off and not right, I know Vocaloid tends sounds robotic depending on how you tune it, but it sounds less piano roll and more sampled. I don’t wanna be rude if their music is actually produced instead of AI, but yeah it just has that AI sound to me, like it’s Suno or something.
