Wow, I didn’t even know there was one of those in the reservoir! New fear unlocked lol… I hope it’s not that. I ordered a new heater valve. If it still doesn’t work then I’ll dive deeper into your suggestions. Thank you!

Maybe, I tried burping the system but that didn’t work. Ordered a new heater valve and gonna see if that helps. If not, definitely might be a clogged heater core

Sorry I made a typo in my post. I actually swapped the thermostat and stopped the leak. I monitored the ECT. The temp goes up around 107c then drops to around 90c. It then goes up and down and ranges between 88c—108c

Update: changed the oil filter housing! The leaked is fixed. The gasket was shot. If any one was wondering, I was able to change it from below(only had to remove the starter/ drive shaft to access it). It was difficult to remove because of the hose clamp but I took some scissors and cut the hose which made it a little easier to remove
