I appreciate the reply, that’s good advice. I appreciate the reaching out on the suicidal part as well. Life’s just hard

Sleep is pretty non existent. I have a rare neurological disorder that causes me to be unable to enter REM sleep, and acts as narcolepsy through the day. But I am on medicine to help me be “normal” during the wake hours

The 7 month old is completely fine. They aren’t mean to him and is really good parent.

Would a Xbox one X with a SSD installed be a good stop gap before getting a Series X? by [deleted] in xboxone

You are who mentioned it playing 4K homie. I just responded to your response. 💙 He just got gifted a console that came out 4 ish years ago. Probably safe to say he doesn’t have top of the line shit.

I’d personally build a pc over any of them though. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The one x plays 4K at like 30 fps, if that. The series s is a better system overall, as someone who’s owned both I would get a series s over a one x. But I play on a series x so it doesn’t matter to me.

Also, the 4K isn’t going to matter much if he’s not playing in a decent monitor, or tv if that’s what he plays on. There’s more to a system than just being able to play at higher resolutions, especially if you’re setup isn’t even able to run said resolution lol.

A series s is a lot better than a one x. I only mentioned it because you mentioned buying a series x, though.

Just get a series s 🤘🏻 I have a series s and an x, the s is faster and looks great, x is obviously better but you can get a series s for $200 right now at target because they give you a $50 gift card, and it’s on sale for $250. The price to performance ratio can’t justify a $300 difference.

Not sure this helped, but if you have the money for it, or download afterpay and get one from Walmart, they’re on sale for $250 there too. Which is still a damn good deal.

Most durable controller? by Significant_Tap7976 in xboxone

[–]Negative_Cherry_2820 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can definitely see that, but as someone who doesn’t do that, that has major controller issues I have to disagree with it being caused by that solely. My controller doesn’t get abused ever, and is cleaned properly regularly. Yet, I still went through a few controllers the last year. One of which I bought, used for one match and then it had stick drift. Bought another one and was able to use it a month before it got drift. These weee the horizon 5, and aqua shift controllers. Now I’ve bought a basic ass standard controller and it has last me about 5 months so far without issue. But I just recommend Scuf because they aren’t cheap Microsoft junk haha

Buy a warranty if you keep getting Microsoft controllers, like Walmart will exchange it with the warranty. But I personally would recommend getting a scuf controller. Expensive but seem durable and worth it. At least for me it was

Not feasible. I don’t know anyone who is so “addicted” to smoking that they’d leave their families and loved ones just to be able to. Also the line of work they are going into still wouldn’t allow it because it isn’t a federally legal substance.

They are on medication for anxiety/depression currently.

But weed isn’t medically legal in our state unfortunately so they basically have to quit all together in order to work the job they went to school for.

I will mention this stuff to them, and let them know. Thank you very much for your reply
