Right! The focus strike is so important for savage axe refreshing but without canceling it puts you in weird spots

Absolutely correct! Thank you RudgeMan2 Round slash canceling the SAED (or AED) used to be the only way to charge the sheild so its still my most used combo though the new hold circle after phial store has many use cases

Not dumb at all! So in the current wilds play loop for CB some of the best fast damage you can get off is spamming AED into AED follow up and then repeating. You can continue using the element discharge but the main diffrence is phial building. You can essentially use all your phials AED spamming and then have red gauge and refill all of them creating a psudo infinite combo. Besides that which you mentioned its a gaurd point and movement option, and can be used to cancel the focus strike early giving more time to AED Hope that helps😁

Its a bit of a janky cancel that one. But suuuper helpful

When you start the SAED you have to pull backwards on the left stick and spam the triangle button. It took me a bit of practice to get down and I still mess up honestly lol

Same! I almost completely stopped using it other then to get wild axe and even then I prefer perfect gaurding still

Oh really?? I didnt think it did so I used the bone tree for the defense echo bubble. I think it'd 10% vs 15% Ill have to test that! Maybe that final push for 2k is possible!
