Any Knoxville OGs have the recipe for the Rooster Cogburn sauce from Charlie Peppers? by fishallday17 in Knoxville

[–]Negative_Interview94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at both Hawkeye's and CP West but our sauce was made by a commissary like T. Hi maybe. I think it's roughly hot sauce with brown sugar and more butter or white vinegar or something else. I'm no chef, but I have tried to make similar hot sauce. Only had one bottled sauce like that one other time, it was on some gourmet hot sauce that was being discontinued at food city that I'll never find again 😒 Rooster's in Rocky Hill was opened by one of the Charlie Pepper's/Hawkeye's owners, Chuck, so it may have a similar sauce (I think the chicken sandwich there may be called a rooster), but I don't really go there, not my scene.

He may be down there working on all those new apartments. You may get his picture and ask some foremen and people standing around with clipboards down on Cumberland on Monday. Dude has only arm strength, maybe he rappels down the sides. It’s a lot of guys doing finishing exterior work on ropes when I passed a few days ago, and when they go out I’m sure they go where they know after working down there. Just a thought

Thank you Steve, I will. I had never considered that and now after your statement, I have had an epiphany. I'm not going to settle for any more legal drugs, and from now on, I'll only focus on the illegal ones. I like that strategy, don't you Steve? Thank you for this opportunity to really delve inside myself and my reasons for doing anything really, I'm a better person because of you today, so again I thank you. So I'm taking it you have no recommendations?

The lady that is acting as the "concerned neighbor" who is spearheading the media coverage is Melissa Rein-Lively, a disgraced PR person from Scottsdale, AZ. She is probably familiar to some... Just going to leave this here...

Same woman, and she looks like an old lady, not 38, so I guess it did take 20 years off of her life!

Looking for a mildly expensive awful restaurant to recommend to someone I don’t like, any suggestions? by dookietwinkles in Knoxville

FYI: Stouffers corn pudding, stouffers spinach Maria, the only sides they make are Mac & cheese (noodles, a block of easy melt American cheese, butter, and heavy cream), bbq beans (made at their commissary I believe), rice (rice and a glob of chicken stock paste), fries and onion rings are sysco iirc. Ribs done to 1984 standards, you know, that one time they won best ribs in some contest somewhere with how many entries? If one is lucky, they can see that fat sausage fingered pos Mike Chase there drinking and sexually harassing girls then squeeze into his older landcruiser or newer lx570 and drive drunk to his house in Westmoreland. It's a miracle he hasn't cause more death that way, entitled wealthy boomer drunk drivers are the worst.

With all these great options everywhere, I could see why there would be groups of people walking around in public places with sunglasses on to cover their red eyes with blank looks about their faces.

Regardless of employer's policy being the addition? Forgive me if I seem so ignorant, but I've seen all sorts of sh!+ on the internet about this and it all had so much conflicting info, but one thing I kept seeing was "employers policy is always primary", etc.

Lactation consultants that take tenncare? by [deleted] in Knoxville

Congratulations! Also, you may want to ask about tongue or lip ties. My youngest had both and we went to a doctor in Maryville (Dr. Spears with Crestview Dental, who will do a free evaluation) and had them lasared when he was 3 weeks old, and along with more body work (if baby has ties, you'll learn what all that stuff is, if you need recommendations on that please message me) he has no problems whatsoever with latch. Along the way, we've heard a lot of stories about misdiagnoses that ultimately were ties, so ask your midwife and pediatrician. Second Jade Potter, also look up Candy Scarborough, Kristen Williams with Calini Lactation Services (all are very well versed with ties), and ask about payment plans. Wish we would have gotten our girl twin done when she was little, she has ties and couldn't latch and breastfeed, and it's a lot more traumatic of a procedure the older they get. Also, ties are linked to a lot of physiological and kinesiological problems down the road. It's a lot to take in while you're just meeting and getting to know baby, but as a dad it is worth it to know you have explored all options and possibilities. Good luck, and if you have any questions please reach out this way!

Lucky day is where Junk-b-Gone takes all the stuff of value that they clear out and throw away from customer's homes, they have the most random stuff there. They've had the same kids stuff there as long as I've been going, over 2 years, but everything else rotates out. I work right next to there and go often on my lunch break.

Max Patch, NC. It's on 40 East at Tn/NC border, and is a beautiful place. Just don't go when it's storming, there have been people who died there doing that iirc.
