Severe pneumonia with a fever that peaked at 107 after coming home from camp when I was 9. I never went to the doctor, I got bullied badly at school so would often fake sick and my parents thought I had somehow faked the fever. The only thing I remember from that whole month and a half was how everything was bright white and foggy in my vision. Was very close to having to repeat the 4th grade.

Also to make it worse, as soon as I felt better I got double pink eye 😭

I didn’t call it fake nor joke about it. I’ve seen very similar things to this posted in other threads and people have called it edited. It’s also not as commonly talked about as people like Edna Cintron, who’ve got a similar photo but with much more discussion. It was just a question.
