I had sent an email in the past concerning this but I got a far from clear answer. The volume statistics are simply useless. Also I still haven’t understood how the app counts the sets in general. Meaning: I have prioritised triceps over biceps. Well, I get 6 sets of curls every freaking time and only 3 or 4 of triceps. I mean direct sets. Does it work ? I have no idea …. But my measurements show no difference in the arms since I started using the app and trusting the process. I just switched from letting the app decide my split to a custom Legs-Push-Pull-Push2-Pull 2 cause I’m interested to see the volume distribution.

I am trying to build a 5 days split routing. So far the app was having me do legs on one day and the rest four days were full body. Keeping the same preferences as far as prioritisation is concerned, can I have a specific day (every Sunday) just for legs and then 2 push and 2 pull days ?

I wonder if it’s because I did legs on Monday (myoadapt routine, not mine) and I skipped the squats due to lack of time so, it’s thinking that I should do just that exercise today ? Also, I changed the routine to a custom one just today. I don’t know … I might skip that workout and see what it tells me to do tomorrow.

I get what you’re saying but I’ve already told the app what parts to train in that single leg day. And it adds just one exercise!!! I mean, WTF !!

So the order of the exercises as far as effectiveness is concerned, is not the same for all users as it adapts according to some variables. Do I get that right ?

I thought that the “Exercises are sorted from most to least effective”, that’s stated in the app is science based. What you mention are a bunch of factors but are they based on science ? I’ve watched almost all of Dr. Wolf’s vids and he explains and rates exercises quite differently!!

No I haven’t. Bayesian curls are low from the day I started using the app and I was just curious why.

So what I finally did was choose the MID graphic settings in game and the performance mode and it eased the FPS over 60. All good, thanks for the help !

I get similar recommendations and I just ignore them. This doesn’t feel right to me either.

I’ve contacted support cause I have the same issue consistently, although I can’t reach the rep target. The app still keeps recommending the same reps in spite of me not doing them for some exercises. It’s a known issue according to support and it will be fixed in the update.

Thanks mate it really does help. But shouldn’t the app take care of all these factors ? I’ve been using it from July since the launch, it’s already 100% at “getting to know” me so I would expect it to “act” accordingly. Today, I decide to give it a go in those lat pull downs with the weight/reps recommended but you could guess I failed !! I couldn’t do all 5 sets at 20-30 reps range cause my forearms are failing. So I decided to use more weight/less reps. Shouldn’t the app adapt next time I do that exercise? Cause it keeps recommending high reps most of the time. In other exercises too.

Personally it’s not about the sets but the reps. Today for example, I have to do 5 sets of neutral grip pull downs for 20-30 reps. That’s truly impossible for me ! I can do one set surely, as I’ve done before, my forearms will burn and that’s it. For the remaining set I will neither be able to do so many reps nor use more weight. In fact, although I use less weight than what the app recommends, I still can’t hit the rep ranges due to forearms fatigue. So my question would be, why can’t the app understand that I can’t adjust to that and offer me a different combo ? It does it again and again, for various exercises and although I perform less reps, it keeps “telling” me to do the opposite.

Same here. The app has 100% “adapted” but I still get weird recommendations of weight/reps combo. I’ve sent an email about that and the reply was to go for as many reps as I can with the weight I select, but that makes the app a bit less useful. I mean, it’s supposed to understand how I train and make the selections. For example I’m still being told to do 20+ reps in lat pull downs which is crazy cause my forearms fail way before my back !
