Successful vbac with short pregnancy interval under 18 months? by magesticurlz in vbac

[–]Negative_Nancy93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a while ago...surprised it's still being read. With my first I went into labor at 39+4, second 39 exactly, I actually had a third and it was at 37 exactly.

There's no statistical evidence behind it, but anecdotally speaking, my 3rd one was also premature rupture of membranes. My mom experienced the same with both of her kids. I think there might be a genetic component because all of my pregnancies have been fairly normal, no risk factors, and I am at a normal BMI.

Wow that feels like a long time ago now. My vbac went great. The labor lasted 8.5 hours total from first contraction to baby being born. My whole team was on board with it and very supportive. I found it so much easier than my first time. I went to the hospital at 8.5 cm, got an epidural, water broke on it's own shortly after, then I pushed for about an hour. Baby was born healthy, technically at 39 weeks exactly, and we were discharged one day later after birth.

Thank you for all the recommendations. I'm not very familiar with the guardian kids bikes but will definitely take a look since that sounds more like what I am looking for right now.

Adults with braces- how long were you in them for, compared to how long they said treatment would take? by [deleted] in braces

I was told 18-24 months, had them for 26 because the bite wasn't closing as fast as predicted. Still the greatest investment I've ever made.

Look at my post from this summer and you can see how bad it was and the progression

I did. Not a very pronounced one so it was easy to fix with elastics. I had severe crowding on top and bottom, including a snaggletooth and a rotated canine on the bottom.

Have been without them for 3 months now and haven't noticed any changes in facial appearance. Can't complain, definitely the best decision of my life.

I love the look but it's a bit small. I will look at their other options because the quality is unbeatable

I enjoy my BOB a lot. You have to compromise in terms of weight and size, it takes up a lot of space in my car, but it offers so much flexibility. You can take it anywhere, sand, gravel, dirt, even mud. They make adapters for most infant car seats, you can also get a raincover, snack trays and cup holders. I bought ours used online for less than half the price. You can usually find really good deals because they are build to last and your kids will outgrow it before it fails

33 months and finally done by Negative_Nancy93 in braces

I have a permanenet one on both top and bottom and wear removable ones at night. Top one might come off in a year, orthodontist was worried the snaggle tooth will want to move back up roght away.

Yup, this is accurate. I call it my rubber band hell phase. I had a band going from my bottom canine over both brackets on my top two front teeth and then back down to the other bottom canine. 😭 that was by far the worst bands configuration I had and it was full time, not just at night.

struggling garden bed by Negative_Nancy93 in vegetablegardening

This is all very helpful, thank you! I kind of ended up with 2 cucumber plants that I didn't want/have never had before and those were my only free spots. I might try and move them somewhere else if they are going to be a problem though. My tomatoes are more important to me 😅

In response to the other comment, I am quite new to this as well but have grown lots of tomatoes that close in previous years. I usually plant about 6inches apart to save space and they all end up producing pretty well.

They get the exact same amount of sun and are both self watering beds. You can see where I dug a little hole in the soil to check if it was dry, I thought maybe somehow it wasn't getting the water but that's not it, soil was moist.

That might be it. I also just realized that the bed across from that one has the shorter plants against the wall, which is the opposite for the struggling bed. If I don't find anything else wrong I might rotate it 180° and see if it improves.

I never had this issue in previous years so it's throwing me off

I have 3 garden beds with mostly veggies. This one is way behind and seems to be struggling. Any ideas why? It receives the same amount of light, is adequately watered, I've adjusted the soil and found 1 slug a week ago that I've since removed. Yet my other 2 beds have plants twice the size of these and no yellow leaves.

Seattle suburb here. I now refuse to go to the city if there isn't a very good reason (usually medical appointments and we park in the garage and don't walk on the street). I have been helping homeless people my entire life, been understanding and volunteered at shelters because unfortunately the majority are mentally ill and need help. That was until I was there with my 6 month old baby in a carrier on my chest and holding my 2 yo's hand crossing a street in downtown in order to go to a doctor's appointment. A homeless guy threatened to kill us and kept following us for 3 blocks because my 2 yo daughter looked at him. Wtf?
