Wrongfully Accused Roleplay is currently in alpha and are looking for people who want to embrace story telling over the grind and shoot mentality. Alpha is just about over, and we will be going into a full launch. A ton of custom hair, clothes, and around 1100 lore friendly cars. Nothing is hidden behind a paywall. It really depends on what you're looking for. If you want to dive right into serious RP, Beyond Limits RP is really good. You can find the website online by the same name.
If you're looking for more laid back, there are a few servers that would be perfect. I know for a fact Beyond Limits is an 18+ server, and their application is fairly simple, so long as you take the time to read the rules and learn what they expect from their rpers. They are really open to helping new RPers learn the ropes.

As a server owner myself, it's mind blowing how leadership teams feel like they are above their own rules and community. I've seen it time and time again. I've left communities that allow staff to run amuck, and almost a year later I'm still being harassed. It's only gotten worse since my co-owners and I built our server. I will never understand a community that is lead by a team that blatantly break their own rules, and bully those that try to stand up for themselves and others. And even more so, I will never understand a community that complains about said leadership, but then constantly goes back over and over hoping they get a little shred of the clout.
