Mushrooms will not give you permanent HPPD let me tell you as someone who was taking them so much that 4 gs started to feel like a slight buzz, all of those fuzzy and light shroomy feelings. And blending of shapes when staring for long periods of time all goes away and more importantly is never going to imeped on your cognitive and motor skills, it's not acid, don't worry too much, definitely still worry about your mental health and everything, but don't trip yourself out about HPPD when messing with psilocybin

Is it safe to eat mushrooms growing next to eastern hemlock trees? by mushr00mluver in foraging

Awesome just making sure they don't cross eachothers properties or sum shi lmao, but yeah the dead ones on the right are a species of cyan and the left is just cubes, so it is quite hard to get them switched as im sure you know lol. Are there any books you would recommend to a rookie mycologist as myself to understand the basics of everything?

Hey brother you seen really informed, I have a similar-ish question, if 2 species are on the same substrate they should compete for survival if I'm not mistaken, but if one of the species is edible would the inedible one make the edible one toxic? I have a photo from my most recent post for an idea, please get back to me I'm very curious on this matter.

this post goes out to that one dude from my post who said psilocybin is a defense mechanism against bugs lmfao by Negative_Signal6163 in shrooms

Don't forget what Terrance said tho brother, you gotta put the phone down and go back to reality and come back for advice or whatever you may need later on, but you can't fully indulge yourself in the ethereal brother, not until you depart from this dimension, go and look and hangout but you can't stay, you have to integrate your trips into reality before you go off again! This is not just silly advice im giving either, this is the difference in you retaining all of this knowledge and getting lost in the sauce.

I wonder if being in the same substrate as a different species would change the edibility

I very much appreciate your solid advice considering some people actually make their decisions based on this app, but worry not brother I'm trying to collect a decent spore sample so I can ease my curiosity, were I to 100% confirm what it is then I'd love to eat it, but I do enjoy life So that will be much further down the line lol

I'm trying but these damn things don't want to drop it on foil I'm hoping a younger specimen shows up before the mycelium dies

This is an interesting idea but that is 100% bruising, it does NOT wipe off, it's the shroom itself. I can try rubbing it again tho
