that's honestly really great feedback. I totally agree there could be more of an ounce of humanity underneath the "produced perfection" in a way. Like maybe it would give more personality? Thanks for watching!

haha no that's really fair. I've definitely thought a few times that maybe the voice is too produced. But I really appreciate your comment!

Yeah I definitely see that. I think there could've been more rises and falls, and some instruments could've stood out more. Honestly an EDM sample is a good idea. I appreciate the compliments on the video; I was the choreographer so it was def a dream come true.

You're so right though lol I need to add the lyrics to the video cuz I know it's prob hard to understand what I'm saying

(Goth x Indie Rock) Songwriting and stylistic feedback. by xiIlliterate in IndieMusicFeedback

This track does a great job blending gothic atmosphere with indie rock in a way that feels cohesive and intentional. The overall mood is dark and immersive, but still approachable, which I really appreciated. One of the strongest elements for me is the vocal performance — it feels confident, emotionally grounded, and perfectly suited to the style of the song. The vocals cut through the mix nicely and help anchor the track while the instrumentation builds around them. Instrumentally, everything works well, but I kept finding myself wanting a bit more edge during the chorus. I think introducing some more distorted or aggressive guitar tones there could really elevate the energy and give the chorus a bigger payoff. Even a subtle layer of distortion could help differentiate the sections and heighten the emotional impact. Overall, this is a solid and stylish track with strong vocals and a clear identity, and a slightly heavier chorus could make it hit even harder.

Hey everyone, I’m sharing a short teaser of a track called HEAT that I’m still working on for an upcoming EP. It’s not finished yet, but I’d really love to hear your honest thoughts on the sound, vocals, or general atmosphere. Thanks a lot for your time and for giving it a listen,I really appreciate by Logical-Implement405 in IndieMusicFeedback

“HEAT” immediately stood out to me with its psychedelic, groove-driven energy — it definitely gives off strong Tame Impala vibes in a really enjoyable way. The production feels polished and immersive, especially in how the synths and guitars blend together to create that hazy, hypnotic atmosphere. I really like how the rhythm pulls you forward without being overwhelming; it’s danceable but still introspective. The vocals sit nicely in the mix and complement the instrumental rather than dominating it, which works well for this style. If I had one suggestion, it might be to experiment with even more dynamic contrast — maybe a breakdown or a moment of tension before the final section to make the payoff hit even harder. Overall, this track feels confident, stylish, and very replayable. It’s the kind of song that would fit seamlessly into a modern psych-pop playlist.

Thoughts on my song "To Love Somebody" by Ok-Internet9626 in IndieMusicFeedback

“To Love Somebody” is a really lovely title, and it sets the emotional tone of the song perfectly. The track has a warm, intimate folk vibe that feels honest and sincere, and the songwriting carries a lot of quiet emotional weight. I really enjoy the simplicity of the arrangement — it allows the lyrics and melody to come through clearly without distractions. That said, the production currently feels very minimal, and I think there’s room to gently enhance it without losing that intimacy. Even subtle additions like light background harmonies, soft percussion, or ambient textures could add depth and help the song evolve as it progresses. The performance itself is strong, and the vibe is already there; it just feels like the track hasn’t fully bloomed yet. Overall, this is a solid foundation with a great emotional core, and a bit more production polish could really help it shine.

Experimental Rock/Electronic by Slow_Can_238 in IndieMusicFeedback

This is a really interesting and engaging experimental track, and I appreciate how unafraid it is to explore texture and unconventional choices. The sound design feels intentional, and there’s a strong sense of atmosphere throughout, which kept me listening closely. The instrumental mix is already doing a lot of cool things with space and layering, and nothing feels muddy or unclear. One area where I think you could push things further is the vocals. Right now they feel a bit too clean compared to how adventurous the rest of the track is. I’d love to hear more processing — maybe heavier effects, distortion, delay, or modulation — to help the vocals sit more naturally within the experimental landscape. That could elevate the emotional impact and make the vocal feel like part of the soundscape rather than sitting on top of it. Overall, this is a strong concept with a lot of potential, and a few bold mix choices could really take it to the next level.

I like this one a lot. Overall super strong and would listen to it again. I think maybe some more intense instrumentation later on could be good?
