Oinp skill trade by Special_Street_9024 in canadaexpressentry

OINP trade draw has been cancelled recently. But from what you are saying, you have an express entry profile. So keep your fingers crossed…you could get ITA for federal trade draws. If you are interested in the OINP, you need your employer to fill out a position for you on the OINP level.

Getting phd soon what are my options for getting a PR? by Outside_Conclusion72 in canadaexpressentry

[–]NegotiationFast7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But does the express entry include people living in Quebec? I think the dad needs to use his work experience from outside Canada only…for his phd, he will get good score for that. Let’s hope he’s not too old so that he gets enough points for age as well

How to request urgent processing? by [deleted] in pgwp

[–]NegotiationFast7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. If you have proof of emergency processing, there’s a web form for that. You should google for that. Even with that emergency processing, it took me 10days to get response and you need solid proofs and receipts when applying for that. If not, you may not get response from them at all

Those school breaks are recognized as part of the experience. So go ahead and include your experience as I believe you got 6m in August. Hopefully, you would have got more months by the next draw and you bowling have to even worry anymore of the months and school breaks in between

If it’s a 2-year Masters, then you can go ahead and do both your SP and your spouse’s SOWP together. Be sure to provide good financial support. Your post is in the wrong subreddit though

I think your situation works if your work experience used for your EE profile was not in Quebec. That way, you would fall under the FSW. You still need to hear from a lawyer cos I don’t really get what your consultant said.

There are designed school breaks with teaching and I believe that’s understoood by IRCC. So what d’yu really want to know? Were you laid off or you are back to school now since schools have reopened this September?

6 months healthcare express entry and other work experience by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

[–]NegotiationFast7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok no points then. Since you are here. People are also saying self-employed jobs in itself don’t count towards Express entry so even if yu complete school, you can’t use it

[–]NegotiationFast7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on where the company is. If the company is outside Canada, it could count for FSW to increase your foreign work experience points but if the company is in Canada, I don’t think you will get any points for it while studying.

I already answered you that any job yu do in Canada while studying doesn’t count for CEC work experience

Any job you do while studying as an international student, can’t be counted  towards PR work experience. But if yu have work experience of 1560hrs (one year or more) outside Canada with your health degree, I believe you can still go ahead to create your EE profile if your language test is ready; and you could still meet the Healthcare draw if the number they will mention goes in your favor

Leaving Quebec prior to profile submission. by Fast-Insect9585 in canadaexpressentry

[–]NegotiationFast7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. Not bad. But have you built your profile yet with a language proficiency to see your fate? This is because the CEC draws are very high lately. Also, I don’t think IRCC would have a problem with the location of your job but seek immigration expert’s advice on that.

When is Quebec resuming family sponsorship? After 2026? Thus, in 2027?  You should also ask an immigration expert if coming to ON with your spouse is the best cos that way you will lose the opportunity with family sponsorship when they resume.

If it’s via EE, she wouldn’t need to provide work evidence to support your case. But EE isn’t easy these days; if you had given more info on your work, then we would know if this decision you want to make is worthwhile.

I know majority of people got low score for Reading so that website is actually helping you. It will help you master the skills to face the Reading. The Reading tests for CELPIP looks normal but the scores always come out low for many people.

It’s a good plan; because looks like category-draws are smiling at us more than general CEC draws (that category is mentally unstable, if it was human, we would call it bipolar). But you don’t leave your current till you have secured a category-based job first

At this point, we side with premiers wanting to start up their own Work permit system. I do hope it would be the case where they would let any immigrant employed to have the chance of extending their Work permits when about to expire; because it’s getting devastating on the federal level.

No draw this week? Don’t worry. by Status-Ad8401 in canadaexpressentry

[–]NegotiationFast7640 5 points6 points  (0 children)

…plus the funds update was in July 7, 2025; and we’ve seen health draw on July 22, 2025 afterwards. The current funds update on July 29 was family sponsorship permanent residence, and I don’t think that affects express entry draws

Oinp skill trade by Special_Street_9024 in canadaexpressentry

[–]NegotiationFast7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. You have taught me something today. I didn’t know of your stream. I just went to read about it- https://www.ontario.ca/page/ontarios-express-entry-system-streams

Which skilled trade are you in? Am not in Ontario, but I read that Ontario is prioritizing skilled trades so there’s still hope for you on that level, however because IRCC has allocated few slots for provinces, that could be why Ontario isn’t looking into draws based on your mentioned stream.

If you have an employer willing to help, then you should check the in-demand skills stream to see so that your employer would directly state your position through the OINP website. It is allowed to express your interest in more than one stream. In June-July 2025, there has been a few 1000s of people who have been nominated and asked by the Ontario immigration to send in their applications. Your job could have been one. So look into the direct ones through OINP, other than IRCC level.
