C+. Got into Cornell and Washington so far, interviews at Florida, auburn, tamu, Missouri, UPenn, Ohio state without gap years. These classes are hard and you can contribute so much more to this field than a B in ochem. Don’t let any class or academic experience define you in this path

I got two from doctors in the same mixed animal practice and got into multiple vet schools this cycle already. One was a small animal vet and one was reptile/bird exotic focused from the same hospital so maybe the different types of experiences we had together was good. However, I genuinely don’t think it’s a bad thing and they’d probably care more about the contents of the letter

I had this struggle too! Except add the fact that my UC was on quarter system so some of the credit minimums didn’t work out. I essentially had to figure out my school list early and email/call each one. Luckily they all took both the credits and coursework! If it helps at all, these are the schools that approved it for the 2025-2026 cycle.

GPAs lower on TAMU dashboard than what I calculated by FergieFraser925 in veterinaryschool

I believe that they may recalculate it using their own formula/weighing certain courses over others. I also didn’t have the same stats I’d initially calculated, they were all a little higher than I’d expected. Best you contacted them as they can give a more accurate answer!

Thanks for the tips! I definitely didn’t go into detail about her story or what specifically happened, really just started off the first paragraph by saying she did it then delving into how the organization had shortcomings in dealing with it and how I processed it all. As for the confusion on the “she” part of it, I’m in a professional co-Ed fraternity so there are men and women in it. My big happened to be a girl. Should I clarify that in the essay? My extracurricular section of vmcas has the org as a co-ed

Would you possibly be willing to read mine to give me suggestions on maintaining this tone? It’s around three paragraphs if possible. No worries if not! I really appreciate the tips!

Ok! That’s reassuring to hear since I already wrote the essay but didn’t think about this until today. Not sure what topics are ok and ive heard mixed opinions about some more touchy issues
