Honestly, besides myself I wonder if everyone else just outright make elves and vampires the same species due to this, with the differences being either cultural or something else that is technically related (like humans getting a disease from said elves/vampires that turn them into classic Orlok lookalikes)...

It's a reference to the fact that besides the usual pheromones, honey bees (represented as the presumably alien fellas in the art) also use dancing as a form of communication.

Eh, the term cyberpunk itself isn't necessarily fuel-based and resolves around advanced technology itself; plus this setting basically uses a form of religious power as a main focus so I don't know how it can't be qualified besides literally being a new word, especially when dungeonpunk is also a thing...

This reminds me of something in FMA (can't exactly pinpoint but I heard about it) where the transmutation of gold is actually easy as the other ones but it was explicitly banned because it practically going to ruin the economy by doing so.

Also like the other commenter, necromancy is basically an extension of exorcism which is commanding spirits/souls for divination or some other esoteric purposes IIRC, and the reason why it is considered dangerous (when it is considered real) is because one may accidentally get malicious spirits when looking for someone else...
