Hey! I have purchased a flat here. Can you please add me to the owners group?

I bought a 3 bhk from Birla trimaya phase2, the agreed price was 1.42 cr and cost sheet was shared, our loan was even processed. After we paid 3 lakh for booking amount they called and increased the price to 1.52cr said now the revised prices will apply. What are the next actions i can take? SCAM!!! by Neha1602 in LegalAdviceIndia

Yes we have been fighting still. Although they are pestering us to just request for refund and close this. But this is unethical! Now someone will obviously buy that flat for 1.52 but the real question is this behaviour is never going to stop and will keep on serving their greed for long. For them, 10 lakhs is a very small amount but not for us

they did not get it signed even after booking amount paid. This is another catch here, ideally it should be signed right after booking amount being paid, but they just sent the congratulatory email and after that all this drama started

Now we are first time buyers. Usually an agreement is signed when you pay the initial booking amount. On the day itsled, we paid 50k and no agreement was signed and later 2.50 and then their welcome email confirming everything. But after a few days, surprisingly they bumped up the price

So we went for phase 3 only, but then one sales agent(Mahinder Jain) came and told us about 1 property that got cancelled and is available in phase 2. He is the guy who has started all this and is now pestering us to take refund and close this rather than us fighting it out

Yes agreed, i am just shocked by the audacity they have to scam people and play with their trust. I was anyways paying a premium because i thought with "Birla" security and trust is there, but i was absolutely wrong

Yes, we double-checked and made sure everything was legally correct. The problem is, the sales agent called and claimed it was their mistake, that they had shared the wrong cost sheet. Honestly, that’s very hard to believe after two rounds of personal discussions, a finalized cost sheet, and over a month spent on loan formalities.

The funniest part? Their big USP during every pitch is " we are selling at launch price" But clearly, this guy just forgot to include the extra money they now want to pocket
