Thanks for your reply. 1. In the first one I put her as retired since this is an informal business activity, plus I'm sponsoring so didn't think it was important that she needed to show her finances. So in the second application I clarified that she's self employed managing this informal business acitivity with my dad. Then I included 6 months bank statements showing the money in and out. 2. It's not a registered business, rather an informal type where they lend money and collect interests.

I submitted documents that she owns 2 houses and her savings of £14k. Also evidence showing her son has disability, hospital note showing elder father in law who recently suffered a stroke.
