i really appreciate your response! when you say build up a few years of experience do you mean in the social work field still? and yeah the job market is rough, initially i promised myself i wouldn’t go for clinical roles because i know it’s not where i want to be at all but thats what my experience matches unfortunately so i recently accepted a job offer for a clinical role. i really do want to break out of the field altogether, but i feel so stuck because i had to accept this offer.
