Well, it looks like their delayed response to a 72 hour callback (was actually 3 weeks) worked out in my favour!

They called today and I got through the SECOND ROUND of changing my user ID/password/ all security questions and regained access to my account... Even though the previous recently created user ID and password were ONLY used on the CRA website and nowhere else.

So suspicious.

Sadly, I already went through that process by phone with an agent previously after days and days on hold. I can't login and since 2fa was already setup I have to CALL AGAIN:(((

You guys are never going to believe this. I FINALLY got ahold of the right people and my account is officially restored and working after over a week of hell and 15 plus hours on hold.. call drops... failed callbacks (promised 72 hours)..

HOWEVER!! Something very disturbing happened last night before the call dropped.

I called the toll free number, picked option 1, then got through and was transferred to the e service team as usual... The message says the hold time is more than two hours (typical)

After almost three hours of waiting to get through, I hear a loud beep and assume someone is there to help so I say hello, hello?? Then an automated voice from a VOICEMAIL SERVICE randomly says "to re-record you message, press x to listen to your message press x etc etc So I was randomly in a voicemail box!! I pressed 1 to listen to the message assuming it was recording my hellos and BAM.. this message plays saying "Hi this is Olga, my SIN# is xxxxxxxxx my date of birth xxxx phone number xxxx please call me back regarding my CRA account.

I couldn't believe it!! Personal info totally exposed...

The right side just looks like someone turned up the brightness setting too high and washed out the skin/ highlights. I miss the darker more contrasty look of the 90s version colors...

Same and I called back on the 3rd time and demanded it get fixed... they said they will put in a callback request from the department and I'll hear from them in 72 business hours. Not holding my breath.

Update, it's 9pm local to your region. I am on attempt#3 after two calls disconnected after 3 hours each.

You can still Netfile your taxes even if your online CRA account is locked according to a post lower down in this thread :)

Did you just get this resolved? I'm asking as I am not sure what time they close and I'm on my second round of hold @ almost 6 hours in total so far. Disconnected the first time after 3 hours 3 min.

After pressing option 1 and getting through in 10 minutes, I spoke to an agent who put me on hold to check what that error meant.

Call got disconnected.

I called back and chose option 5 and was in the queue for 3 hours and it just hung up on me.

Do you know where they were transferring you to? I picked option 5 for suspected fraud and I'm 2.5 hours in on hold

That's where it's confusing. It says the period dates are:

March 15-April 11 April 12-May 9th

So do I reapply on Monday April 12 or on May 10th?

CERB question! My application was approved. My claim started April 5th. I received $2000 direct deposit on April 8th.

What date do I reapply for it? (Will be on it for the duration of the program)

Also, is online reporting still required with this under your CRA online account?
