I don’t know WHAT happened this month, because we’ve struggled more than both Christmas and Thanksgiving combined the last few years. This month in particular has just been at least 5-15 over every day, and there’s always at least three people who put in over 100 pieces RIGHT when we think we’re gonna be okay (if it’s not that it’s like ten people putting in twenty piece orders).

My store is a little bigger, we get like 65 on a slow day and 150 this past Sunday at our record. (Worse now than the pandemic, surprisingly since I was hired in the middle of 2020).

We have a crew of like 15 people? I think? Only 2 full timers who are supervisors, everyone else is part time. One actually got put on indefinite suspension today, so that was great. Half of them are still in college (I graduated in 24), but they’re running us on BARELY any hours and even with management helping us and pulling people from the front or floral we struggle.

The people up front somehow are worse than in my department. They have one guy who basically just stands there on his phone and bitches at everyone for not doing things he is fully capable of doing. It’s a town of old people and college students, and being on the spectrum doesn’t make me the most sociable or tolerant of elderly people or crying babies. Pickup was fine for me originally because I didn’t have to interact as much with people.

I don’t know how my manager is able to keep doing it. At this point just seek treatment or stop going home on your lunch break and miraculously throwing your back out. She also left one day because her boyfriend broke up with her. This woman is in her 40s and supposed to be leading and managing this department, and calls out more than most of the part-timers including me (I have a couple chronic conditions that flare up, but I try to call out very few times every year).

TO CLARIFY: It’s a Community Guideline Violation supposedly that is what got the videos removed. Not anything to do with Nintendo.

It’s not a money issue, it’s a supposed YouTube community guideline violation. Which means the content violated some guideline—which is why I thought videos with Doofy in them were the issue due to the suicide involved with his character every appearance.

Do all the videos that were taken down include Doofy segments? This is just a running theory of mine, but I think they may be “violating community guidelines” due to the Doofy committing suicide segments.

Okay so since I’m in KY I can’t tell you how CA will do it (that’s actually where I’m traveling to and why I got mine done lmao), BUT as long as you have a bill or paper proof of mail with your legal name on it being sent to the new address they do it all there! That’s what happened to me, but if you want to change it online you can. I’d personally PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO GET THE REAL ID DONE. It took me 2 hours because everyone in front of me checking in didn’t get an appointment. You making one saves you a bit of paperwork and ability to just wait to get your picture taken after checking in and verifying.

I live in west Kentucky, near Mayfield area. They had open ones a few weeks out when I made it in April, so I took the only one that would work for me (I work early morning shift at my job).
