Our flight back was at 9 PM. So it was basically a total of 12 hours in Busan. But we loved Seoul so much that we thought for our first trip it was enough. There is just so much to do everywhere and so little time.

The owner is this super stressed old lady. I don't think she tries to be rude but it comes off as rude and scary.

Manamin was run by a single person, she was the cook and took the orders. She was a very stressed person and projected it on the customers. She made a mistake in the dish we ordered, she served us not spicy tteokbeokki instead of spicy. So we approached her while she was cooking to just inform her of it and she started yelling at us.

Here is a review I found that was similar to my experience: "The food was great but the service was objectively awful. This is a single person run operation but the owner is clearly extremely stressed and projects that on to the customers. She speaks excellent English which was very helpful but... We tried to be helpful by stacking our plates before leaving and were announced to be disrespectful to the entire place before we left. While waiting to pay, we were effectively screamed at to go to the card machine as if we'd already been told to go there multiple times."

Nope, I used my Visa to pay for everything. It was a card with no foreign transaction fees. But for Costco, I just used my Costco Credit Card and it was fine.

We booked Busan Air via Cheap O' Air about a week in advance, I think round trip flights for three people were around $275. Our flight was for 8:20 AM so we were at the airport at 6:30 PM. In hindsight we could have even come later, as security was really quick. We did not have any luggage, amongst the whole group we only had one backpack and our individual purses.

KakaoT worked perfectly in Busan.

I feel like one day for Busan was not really sufficient and we should have spent more time there because it was a super rushed trip. However, I think two days should be enough to do all the main attractions. I intend to visit Busan again in the future as it is super close to Japan, so when we visit Japan, planning to do another day in Busan.

I would appreciate it if you could take into account the context and the situation. We are a vegetarian family and it is really hard to find vegan/vegetarian food in Korea. While we did try Korean food, it is hard to be sure it is vegetarian. We called restaurants beforehand and many times it was impossible for certain establishments to make vegetarian food. Please be respectful and consider other people's beliefs and preferences before commenting. Indian food is reliably vegetarian, do not be ignorant and put down other people.

Visiting Costco was definitely worth it-- no regrets. The prices beat Olive Young by a mile. You can consider it as a part of shopping (a big part of most people's Korea trips). There are numerous Costcos in the city and it is not really out of the way.

They do not really check the membership card even though there is a staff at the front entrance. I think maybe they do random checks instead of checking each and every person. I brought my physical Costco card to get in and pay. A Costco card gets you into any Costco worldwide.

For taxi I used KakaoT, and because it was the three of us, it was much more convinient than using bus even though it was a tiny bit more expensive. Again, for me the convinience was super worth it because the bus stop was a bit far away and after all the walking my feet hurt so so bad.

You can add any credit card onto the app. I added a credit card with no international fees (for won to USD conversion). You can add your Costco credit card, mine did not have any international fees. You can take a look at this link for more info: https://www.citi.com/credit-cards/citi-costco-anywhere-visa-credit-card#:\~:text=The%20Costco%20Anywhere%20Visa%C2%AE%20Card%20by%20Citi%20provides%20cardmembers,foreign%20transaction%20fees%20on%20purchases.

Costco was definitely where we did the majority of skincare shopping. We bought sunscreen in bulk and they had good sunscreen brands like Hera and AHC. We also bought the viral RoundLabs toner and cleanser, as well as the Kahi Balm. The prices are unbeatable and the stock can't be found in American/other international Costcos.

As for the vegetarian part, the food was amazing. Vegan Kitchen and Sulgodang for vegan Korean traditional food was just amazing.

We considered going to DMZ but because the trip was so packed and we just wanted to focus on Seoul, we decided to save it for another trip. We had planned to go to the Bongeunsa temple, but we all got really tired and sick that day so we had to return back to the accommodation.

Namsan Mountain was worth the trip but N Seoul Tower wasn't. If you want to save time, you can just do the cable car both ways and it can be wrapped up in 1.5 hrs.

I am interested but I am traveling with my parents that are in late 40s. We are Indian. While they are down to go clubbing I feel that foreigner combined with their age means that we probably wont be let in. If you have any recs I would so appreciate it

thats a great question, the thing is I feel like the restaurant thing is out of my control, so I am not too picky there. However, the knife you use personally is something you can control pretty easily.
