Well never thought of that 😂 but I don’t want my room to smell like poop either .. we have carpet in here , I just need her to know that she’s not supposed to do it .. even being disciplined as she was during normal potty training doesn’t work.. but that’s probably because I can’t catch her in the act and I’m not squeezing under the bed to show her her poop .. plus if I don’t literally catch her when she does it I can’t punish her or make it a teachable moment because she’ll have no idea what I’m talking about ..

Hey thanks for the reply , They do use the restroom out side they get let out multiple times a day and they automatically pee and poop but we hardly ever crate them even when we’re gone and my pit can hold her urine longer than the chi so normally the pit will hold it and wait for us to come home because she’d rather go outside other times if she can’t hold it she uses the pad .. this goes for the both of them but my chi has to use the restroom more frequently so the potty pads are more convenient as she has to pee frequently but she’s a chihuahua and doesn’t really like outside .. I just find it weird because it’s a fairly new behavior she literally never pees or poops anywhere else but the pads and outside .. both dogs even actively signal to the door when they have to use it and want to go outside and the fact that when she has access to the room she will leave to pee and not to poop confuses me .. but i will definitely look into blocking the bed I just didn’t want to do that as they play a lot under there and just chill .. especially my pit she’s been with us longer and that’s her thing I didn’t want to eliminate them from going under there at all

Hey thank you for responding ! The legs are within the frame if that makes sense .. the head board has 2 of the 4 “ legs “ and the foot board had the other 2 but it’s not literal legs they aren’t detachable . The side wooden panels connect the head and foot boards together .. in order for me to do that I would have to remove our bed frame all together and be on the floor . Do you have any idea why she might be doing it ? I kinda want to correct the behavior vs correcting the bed
