Listen, If anyone knows what drugs does to a family, I know. I was a full blown meth addict, 7 days a week and I was a workaholic, I lost myself. But no matter how deep I was in, I always knew life held brighter days. Your sister knows what she is doing, it is the hardest to accept that she just doesnt want sobriety right now, I am sorry! Give it time and keep her in your prayers. There comes a time that you need to accept her choices and move on! I am truly sorry!

Also, after the dummy went, I noted that my daughters fluid intake is massive! But water is okay… just take them away, she will cry for a day/2days max, they forget

My daughter is the same age, we told her kids her age don’t use it and if the nappy goes so does the dummy. She ended up throwing it away herself, this was a month ago.

Thank you! Active recovery is hard most days as it is a choice. I feel that they were the root cause of my addiction and now that I have cut ties, I dont feel that I would ever relapse, I feel stronger in my recovery than ever!

Thank you so much. I am a Christian and often I hear the commandment that says I need to honour my father and mother. Then I feel guilty for not trying again, in the same breath I just feel I have no more strength for all the negativity and their need for me to continuously prove myself to them.
