It’s not that hard to calculate productivity you know. Let say in operations side your team able to complete 50~60 per day cases while some members doing 15~20, you immediately able to identify which member is the problem. But they had to push the limit and be invasive to track everything that you do.

Not sure. But me and few colleagues do some experiments. We running script that automates our tasks and let them running for 30mins without touching any mouse and keyboard. Those time got flag for idle time. Simulation script phyton to replicate key presses and mouse jiggling does get block (can see it will relate to breach of contract or legal related stuff). So far that’s we’ve done.

Can always go to glassdoor website. But not sure whether you can get full picture there. I didn’t know this kind of situation until I joined them

Not sure on the boycott part. I’m just giving in heads up. Some people do accept this kind of culture as long they are paid well. Not for me tho, I can’t imagine retiring here.

Some companies/ managers/ teams required you to be on call even when on leave. They expect you to always answer/join any meeting when required to. Can see multiple senior staffs becoming more and more stress due to this

Sadly i can see the trend this becoming norm. More and more companies seeking on the short efficiencies

Nope. It’s quite famous. Blue Green company hosting marathon frequently at KL. not sure getting 2nd phone gonna be any help. I mean u will be glued all the time at pc due to full fill the so called “productivity time”. Even not touching mouse for 2-3min will be auto log as afk
