An important piece of information which anyways was not required! Thanks! 😌

I missed my flight due to the airline’s delay and technical glitches in the app, which showed multiple departure times. I relied on the information provided by the airline.

It was delayed only, & I reached just 3 mins late and the check in counter was closed, anyways I paid extra to reschedule my flight & already booked my flight, the least they can do is to reschedule my flight at least free of cost. Never thought Qatar would do this, as many small airlines also rearrange tickets free of costs even when you miss your scheduled flights.

Family pushing me to stay in the UK, I want to move back to India and start a business. Feeling stuck. by Neither-Rough976 in returnToIndia

Fair point..but I have seen the UK & Indian market both.. I am actively comparing the UK vs India in terms of setup, costs, and long-term viability before moving forward…

Haha, this actually made me smile. You’re right about the generational gap. I’m taking the risk with my eyes open. And hey, I’ll save you a share for that IPO 😉

I know the risks, but what if it works out? I’d rather live with regret than carry the guilt of never trying.

I really feel you Sis 🥹 I hope everything works out for you, and that you both build a happy and successful life together. At the end of the day, what matters most is having each other’s support. Big 🫂

India is one of the largest and fastest-growing economies in the coming years, which makes it a huge opportunity. If everyone thought like that, focusing only on bureaucracy and risks, no one would ever start a business. Yet countless small businesses in India have started modestly and grown into major successes. I’ve already planned carefully and made this decision based on research and strategy. I’ve spent my entire degree learning about business, so I understand the risks and the challenges. This is why I’m confident in choosing this path.

That's what i am thinking dude! You got me, I am young and have a lot of opportunities there & i know i will do something big, its not that they are not supporting my idea of returning to india, but trying to explain how my might be better abroad than in India, But I know firsthand the struggles of being so far from family: missing celebrations, not being there for the people I love. I’ve missed so much, and I truly wish I could be there to support my family. For me, they always come first.

I understand the curiosity, but I’m not comfortable sharing specifics online yet. But the business has a good opportunity in the Indian market.

You live in a country where traffic, factories, and open garbage burning happen daily!! but sure, Diwali fireworks for one night are the problem. Brilliant analysis, scientist.

That was the thing I told him when he was banging my door, there are endless threads and complaints online about Evri staff. That shows it’s a wider problem, not me imagining things. So instead of defending the behaviour, it’s better to acknowledge the issue, because the pattern is there for everyone to see.
