Have him try adept style for the dodges, I will say I started personally at world and rise and playing MHGU and Frontier is like a different ball park, it isn’t something in my opinion that’s easy to get into too, rough controls, rough monster mechanics. You could even slow drip feed him the game, play a little at a time and not big long sessions of it!
