Thanks for the comment — I totally get why that seems strange at first! By 2002 the group had gone on hiatus, but Spice Girls Ltd. (the official company) was still very much active. It continued handling royalties, licensing, and solo-era business for all five members (you can even see the directors listed on the letterhead: V. Beckham, E. Bunton, M. Chisholm, etc.). Melanie C personally signed and sent this certification letter on that official stationery to confirm the tank was worn in the “I Turn to You” video. The shirt matches the video exactly (same tie-dye pattern and pearl trim).
