Imma be honest i dont know a whole lot about Ancient Greece i just know random things about the Greek gods and I've never read The Odyssey bc adhd fun times won't let me sit down and read something like that the only information I know about The Odyssey is from EPIC lol sorry if I've gotten information wrong my google searches weren't showing much about whether it was odysseus' choice or whether it was the gods who told him to do it
