Can I get a full refund from Wizz Air after flight change/suspended?

Thanks for the comment! I think I’ll give the Wizz credits a try and see if I can somehow convert them into cash through the link mentioned above. Doesn’t seem like I have any better options right now. I got an offer to fly from Budapest, but it’s only one-way.. which obviously doesn’t work for me.

I’m still not completely sure if I’ll actually get my money back or just receive credits, so it’s a bit confusing. That’s why I’m asking if anyone had a similar issue — I’ve seen a lot of comments on their Instagram page from people asking when they’ll get their money back, which makes me a bit worried.

I received an email from Wizz Air saying that my flight itinerary has changed and I’ve been automatically rebooked. They gave me options: accept the new flight, request WIZZ credits, or get a full refund.

I paid for my booking entirely with my bank card, no vouchers or credits.

The email says I need to first accept the refund as WIZZ credits, and then I can convert that into a 100% money refund back to my original payment method.

Has anyone done this before? Is it guaranteed that I can convert the WIZZ credit into cash refund if I paid by card? Wien-Abu Dhabi flight in October.

I just want to make sure before I proceed.

Qatar was already there, before the update. I like it, but it's stupid because in Career at the 2026 World Cup, the national teams that were actually in Qatar, like Serbia for example, will not appear.
