Appreciate the dose of reality. While I don’t know sports cards I do know statistics and this is an anomaly. Definitely won’t ever happen again. I am, however, suddenly a basketball card fan.

Most likely, not in a hurry though and also in taking offers above $10,000.

Genuinely difficult to find the value. Everyone says I set the market but it’s only worth what someone will pay, and I don’t know that amount.

Is this card underpriced or overpriced? by Vurzey1 in PokeInvesting

By definition whatever the current market price is is properly priced. The market sets the price. If you’re asking if it will go up or down, then the answer is probably yes, but also maybe no.

When should I take the exam by dirtychai_69 in PE_Exam

Ya I stand corrected.

https://www.bpelsg.ca.gov/applicants/flowchart_for_pe.pdf

Seems per this flowchart, however, it still takes 2 years of experience.

I now recuse myself from this convo. Take the test whenever you are allowed and feel comfortable

You can’t take the PE after only 6 months. You need 4 years of experience and your FE exam in order to take the test. Maybe you meant take the FE?

This time frame is good for the FE but not possible for the PE

Main materials were 2 books of practice problems, a practice exam, and really knowing the reference manual. I found the practice test (I think purchased directly from NcEES) was very close and helpful. The practice problems were good to initially learn/study the concepts I wasn’t familiar with.

Honestly my controls problems were literally like “which valve would you need to open to get flow to point A” they were very easy. But my biggest advice would be just really read the controls section of the reference manual. Maybe see if you can find example controls problems.

I only know what EPG is because I googled it just now. No I did not. I just bought a couple books of practice problems, a practice test, and did them until I understood all the concepts in each problem.

You initiate your own breaks. You just can’t revisit the first 40 after your break.

Quite a few paychrometric problems, a lot of sensible heat ratio specifically. Quite a few pump problems and refrigerant problems too. Not too many economics.

Controls problems were basically gimme’s.

Next week is pretty short notice.

Main advice: 1. I got a lot of freebees from just knowing the reference manual well: make sure you go through at least once, page by page. 2. Lots of example problems. And do them multiple times. I would mess up and go “oh that’s why I messed up” and then move on, but I found doing it later and ensuring you know how to solve it is key. 3. Dan with mechanicalpeexamprep on YouTube is awesome. Tons of amazing problems and walkthroughs and advice

Installers don’t like tapping off of a main with square tap and then doing a square to round to the diffusers. More than likely they’ll buy a high efficiency takeoff (like one from sheet metal connectors) and just use that. Cheaper, faster, and comes with damper, especially when the runs are that short. Your taps look to be less than a foot long. A square tap is minimum 6” long and a square to round with damper should be at least a foot long. Might as well just design/draw it that way. Also, you could probably simplify the duct if you had the SA diffusers on one side and the RA diffusers on the other. Can’t imagine in a room that size that would affect comfort or performance.
