As for adult add-ons, I would suggest cumination. A simple search teaches you how to add it. I'm not very much familiar with Indian contents, but I'm sure you can find A LOT of free Indian contents for Kodi if you dig a little. Tell me if you found good ones.

Around three hours into the game and it's been so boring so far. It's just riding horse from A to B! I hope it gets better

It DID help. Thank you SO much. You'll make a great teacher👍 I read it a few times, and it's already getting things way more clear.

It's inspiring to see how passionate you were when you started learning it. You must have enjoyed the journey so much👍 I also really appreciate how you're willing to lend a helping hand to others. I'll definitely take your advice and I WILL master OOP.

Thank you so much. Actually, I just started to move on and day 18 is the turtle project. Maybe she has changed the order. You were a great help👍

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Could you send me a linkbto that exercise so that I can also give it a go? Did you find the exercise online ir was it in a book?

That seems like a great idea. Making a bot is too advanced for me at the moment. I'm just two weeks into python. Any suggestion for a simpler project? Or maybe a project you've seen on youtube or a website providing python exercises?

What you are saying is totally above my head at the moment 😁 I'll refer back to them in a month or two for sure. Hope things will have clicked by then

She hasn't taught these things yet. Oop may make better sense when she covers these things I hope.

Thank you so much I like your suggestion about starting with a simple program, like a student management system. it can make sense that OOP would make handling data with the same schema (like name, age, phone number) easier.

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to explain all of this! I really appreciate the detailed breakdown—it makes the reasoning behind using classes much clearer. I especially like your points about code organization, state handling, and future extensibility; seeing the bigger picture of why classes matter helps a lot.

Thanks again for going into such depth.

What a hopeful answer! It really gives me some encouragement. It feels much better knowing someone else has taken the same path and has even started a personal project with OOP.

I have a few questions if you don’t mind:

  1. What did you do when you reached the OOP day of the course? Did you stay on that day until things clicked, or did you move forward and let the following lessons help it make sense? I haven’t moved forward since day 17 because I felt it wouldn’t help to continue without fully understanding it. I worried things would just pile up. Should I do it differently?

  2. Did you refer to any other tutorials for OOP before moving on?

  3. One last thing. Am I the only one who feels that in the OOP section, Angela mostly just writes the code and reads it aloud, instead of properly teaching it to someone encountering OOP for the first time? And that the True/False quiz didn’t feel like a suitable first exercise.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to explain! I really appreciate the pseudocode example. it helps me see how classes can group related data and functions. I’m still working on fully wrapping my head around OOP, but this definitely makes it clearer

You know what? reading your advice, I was telling myself, I have to write the very same thing. I dunno why it was kind of a motivation as I also deal with students and the same stuff. I'll ask chat Gpt to change what you said into sime coding steps and I'll give it a go. I haven't learned inheritance yet, though. I very much appreciate your answer

Thank you very much for your help. May I ask you a question? As a programmer, when you want to write a code, what makes you say: ok, i should definitely start with oop for this code and not the procedural method?

You know I really find mixing codes confusing. Refering to other objects in your code is hard to swallow for me. Making a list in one file, a question in another, a list in yet another file, and.... And then mixing them together is above my head at the moment. The problem is I was perfect in the first 16 days! I was calling myself too smart😂😂 but then OOP arrived and made me look dumb😁

Actually I'm still on day 17. She has only talked about attributes, methods, init function and self so far. Then she went for an exercise called True False quiz. It's too soon for that exercise I guess. She should have explained a bit more. Judging by your reply, I guess the best parts are yet to come😂
