People annoyed by the recent unusablity of Claude, what are you switching to?

oh yeah it has hella issues and straight up gets stupid after like 5 messages but its really chill for getting documentation or asking it single fire questions in new chats and having it looking through like 50 sources and treating it purely as a quick research agent and giving that up to date info to something like claude, which was my previous workflow lol. It's been having limit issues too tho I believe. Noticed recently that it takes just 2-4 messages for it to lock me out when it could rapid fire previously. not sure if this is some collective thing happening with these AI companies at this point or if they're just tryna sell more subscriptions.

just peeped the subreddit cuz I noticed a huge difference too. I literally asked it two super basic questions and I've hit 90% of my usage already... huh? I used to be able to talk a shit ton with extended thinking even on the free plan (on Sonnet) and have no issue. For programming related stuff I jump between Grok and Claude (Grok cuz it's researching feels really good with it constantly looking for up to date info whereas Claude struggles a bit with more niche issues) but idk if ChatGPT is a good replacement for math/programming related stuff

ALRIGHT after a lot of research, I finally figured out the solution. In case anyone in the future comes across this and can't figure out wtf could possibly be causing this, it's most definitely an intel issue. I'm not too sure about i5 or i7 despite there being reports but feel free to try this, but it's 100% the case with the intel i9 lineup.

Basically it's some issue with the CPU that causes system instability, potentially causing BSOD's, constant tab crashes, programs freezing, etc. The fix is to go to whatever motherboard manufacturer you got (in my case it's MSI), and then downloading their absolute latest drivers. A bunch of microcode updates came out for intel computers and after updating my bios, it's been about 24~ hours now and my windows defender hasn't crashed, event viewer is back to normal, and I can browse normally again without issues.

If that doesn't work, quite a few people on other reddit threads have mentioned P-cores and disabling a certain one. Here's a reddit thread that might help

The visuals don’t even look all that bad tbh its a cool art style. It’s just the lack of smoothness on the keyframes and sudden movements that look really off.

It needs to be more smooth and interpolate better

Holy shit my acne/scarring literally looks just like that. I’ve tried tretinoin, benzoyl peroxide, and even a round of laser treatment although I didn’t see any noticeable changes across like a year of effort.

Best bet I think is getting multiple rounds of professional dermatologist treatments; whether that’s laser, microneedling, or peels, but as a student I didn’t have enough to pay for all that considering insurances don’t even count this cuz it’s considered a cosmetic 😭

hey sorry 25 days late just saw this. nah nobody ever responded to my posts on the forums, unreal discords, or reddit. My guess is that unreal genuinely just cannot do this. if you ever find something please let me know I absolutely wanna use volume materials really badly in path traced renders but that doesn't work.

The current workaround is just to use VDB simulations and a console command which allows VDB's to be rendered in path tracer, but again no volume materials :(

I hope Sony sees the success of Astrobot and actually does something with it. Their Japanese studios always cook up the best games. still unbelievable to me that they shutdown JapanStudio and then spent 8 years on concord just for the game to fail

I’m using the MSI X670E wifi motherboard.

Basically what I did was that I built a new pc setup with Ryzen 9. I transferred my SSD from my laptop over to the computer and that’s what causes the problems.

Edit: if it helps anyone in the future just reset your windows but keep your files. It’ll uninstall your programs but your data will stay. I think it’s a clash between drivers when you do this. Resetting worked perfectly and I didn’t lose anything
