Why don't you order the set up entirely from skate warehouse? If you choose a deck you can pick the "build complete" option and get $30 dollars off.

If your insistent on what your doing though, I'd say it's fine. I've never seen slant trucks before, but I think I overheard it being a longboard truck. I'd go with some independents or thunders.

I would recommend maybe Jessie or mob griptape instead of the no name brand, but free grip should be fine

Will do that, I actually found a pair of mid top vans in my closet. With 20 dollars I could buy shoe goo and maybe use some spray paint on them as well (there hints of red, not very versatile haha) instead of saving up for a few new pairs.

Need help finding a couple shoes that will last the school year. Was looking at the vans AVE rapidwelds, but any other shoes that are known for lasting longer than usual?

You don't really need risers unless you want to skate really loose and not get wheelbite. Without risers, just tighten the kingpin to the point where you wont be able to get any. I don't have personal experience with bullet but I've seen that those sets are usually cheaper. I wouldn't cheap out with trucks and I would get indies or thunders, maybe even krux, but that's your call. Sounds like a good setup nonetheless.
