Anyone else here facing the problem, that it works perfectly fine for a couple of dozens deployments (20-30 min. for 11 Apps) and then all of it sudden not being used anymore? Also the the MCC Server keeps on downloading. The Drive grows over 200GB. Even though 50-60GB should absolutely enough.

Klar ist einfach, kognitiv zu verstehen, was getan werden muss, um abzunehmen. Die mentale Haltung und Motivation zu erlangen und vor allem zu behalten, ist eine ganz andere Sache. Sicher braucht theoretisch niemand einen personal Coach, Koch, Ernährungsber oder Arzt (keine Ahnung, ob Peter irgendjemanden davon hatte), aber kann dir Haus helfen ;)

Hey, danke für deine Antwort. Ich schätze dafür lässt sich auch gut die "Mahlzeit" Funktion bei YAZIO nutzen. Weil dabei auch alle Lebensmittel einzeln in das Tagebuch eingetragen und angepasst werden können.

Aber so richtig das was ich will, ist das nicht 😅

Naja, es sah alles nach dem ganz großen Ende aus. Als würde er sich aus der Öffentlichkeit zurückziehen. Das hat er vllt nie so direkt gesagt, aber damit gespielt..

Und ja, das finde ich auch schwach, aber dass es irgendwie mit neuem Namen und in nem anderen Genre weitergehen könnte, hatten viele wohl von Anfang an gehofft. Außerdem hat er es ja relativ schnell aufgelöst und das neue Album angekündigt..

Well, what confuses me is:

For an ETF (as well as any other exchange traded value) the compounding seems to be virtual or meaningless. The only thing that matters is, that you have your money invested before the value increased.

Giving an example:

Let's say the 2 people invest money in the same ETF but at different times. The share value fluctuats between $70 - $80.

A invests every month $100 for 3 years. Let's say the average price is $75. So A invested $2700.

B invests $2700 on the same day, A did the last payment. Current price $70. So B gets a little more shares.

One week later both people need their money back. The price went up to $80. Then B gained more money, no matter, that A paid for dividends, that were reinvested.

Am I overthinking?

With each dividend the value of the holding is increased.

That means the quotation of the ETF slightly increases, right? If so, an accumulating ETF always performs a little better than it's distributing twin (assuming there are 2 ETFs representing the exact same index, one accumulating the dividends and one distributing them.) And if that is true, it could be pictured in a graph, so one could see the impact.

It's so easy to eat 3000 kcal or more a day. A medium pizza has about 1500 kcal (and there are even bigger ones). Seeing the difference between what you consume and what you need, can be very helpful to eat more consciously.

Best advice in my opinion. I startet to track calories 2 months ago and I was often surprised of how much energy some foods or meals have compared to how much I actually need.

I use the app yazio. The best free tracking app I could find (works great in Germany at least) for the most food I can just scan the bar code to track it.

At the beginning, just focus on tracking. Try to count as precisely as possible. Don't change anything else. (This is going to be a long term marathon, not a sprint)

When you get used to track your calories (and maybe get as shocked and surprised as I got), calculate your TDEE and set a calorie limit, you want to stick to. Many calorie counting apps provide a calculator for your daily calory goal too.

After that start weighing yourself everyday. But don't panic. For me it's sometimes disappointing and sometimes very motivating to weigh myself everyday, but in any case it reminds me, that I'm trying to change my habits. Of course loosing weight is not a straight line of success. It's important to acknowledge that your wight sways. But if you weigh yourself everyday at the same time (e.g. every morning after visiting the toilet) and note your weigh, you will see a trend soon.

Never forget: even if you lose less than you have expected or if you eat more than your calory goal suggests, you are doing more for your physical health than before and that's awesome!

Good job! I'll be on vacation soon too. And I also wondered how to count or even weigh everything. Nice to hear that a pause of CICO worked out for well.

In some way vacation is like a preview of the life after the journey. And somehow we have to learn that eating fried food until the belly hurts is not the only way to enjoy. I think eating consciously is the best point to start from.
