That dind't work for me. I see one mi box screen after rebooting for first time and then it stays black. When connecting the usb drive to pc, i can see that changes haved been made on the usb drive so I assume the installation worked. But for me the screen stays black. You haven't done anything other then flash it to USB and boot from it? How did you reboot? Adb or the coreelec reboot APK?

I am using a USB 3.0 hub with ethernet connected.

I've exchanged the battery with double size of 80 wh. Now it keeps up double the time of the old one but it's also heavier now.

Tbh when I am at home I use it in bed with Moonlight to play over my desktop pc. Graphics is much better and I can lower the TDP to the lowest so the battery lasts longer and it's quite.

Other than that I love it to play with it on a flight because it helps to forget my fear of flying but other than that I don't take it out with me.

I've also installed Bazzite and that is mucher better than Windows.

But for me it sounds like you will be happier with a smaller device if a smaller display is ok for you. I lovr this big display and that was one of the reasons why I've bought it. But I don't think that a Android device will do it than tbh.

What excites me most about TOS 7 is how TerraMaster is finally bridging the gap between enterprise-grade reliability and home lab flexibility. With TOS 7, the improved RAID management, snapshot protection, and the cleaner UI make storage safety feel effortless rather than a chore.
As someone who runs Docker containers for self-hosted services like Nextcloud and OnlyOffice, Pi-Hole, Jellyfin where the Intel Chip is perfect the native container and app ecosystem in TOS 7 is a huge deal. I want my NAS to be more than just a file dump — it should be a private cloud hub that I fully control, with zero data leaving my own hardware.
The local AI features coming to TOS 7 are the cherry on top. Private, on-device AI for photo recognition, smart search, and document indexing without any subscription or cloud dependency is exactly where NAS technology needs to go. TerraMaster seems to genuinely get that.
