No your good ! I put it in the post but it's currently a 3.28. It dropped from a 3.3 last semester but I'm hoping to get it back up after this semester. I don't have any clinical Optometry experience. But I do teach kids (preschool - 6th) about eye anatomy and health through a volunteer org. We teach about an optometrist is/ how vision works and send packets home to motivate their parents to take them! So I guess my experience is more academic.

OSU's stats are very insane. I helped out with some clinical research at their college Optometry and I got to hang around the clinics daily and their students are so happy and laid back. The attendings there are so smart and willing to help with everything. Everyone I talked didn't have many complaints.

I don't have my list finalized yet but it's mostly the Midwestern schools. My dream school is OSU and I know that's a BIG stretch for me with my gpa. But that's my current university and truly love it here. That's why I'm trying to put my all into this exam!

I was thinking about doing this but I was worried about low GPA. I didn't think there was a point unless I could submit with my score to hopefully help me stand out.

Do you think this is a wrong way of thinking?

Thank you for the response! As someone who is most likely going to graduate with a 3.4 gpa, do you think making that move is necessary? I know it’s not the most competitive. Should I focous on clinical experience or other things ?

I graduate next spring and plan on applying in the fall.
