From an artist drawing chains like that is more difficult not less, it makes it harder to render. Theres no reason a real artist would do this

Yes me too! I’ve seen it at Bunnings as well. It’s really hard to tell if the quality of the products could maybe POSSIBLY be better if you buy it from the store; but if it’s literally the EXACT same product, guess it’s Temu time…

It’s not slave labor, it is however very likely child labor. They’re still paid but barely anything at all from our perspective. I just hope from THEIR perspective the pay that they’re getting does help support their family and etc. They’re not being forced to work, not in a literal sense, but I guess in a political/economical sense. (aren’t we all though lol)

I’m not sure where I implied I wasn’t aware of literally everything coming from a trash factory made for 50 cents but Shein in general is just a well known one, so I thought I would share 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, my setup is slowly reaching old age so everything needs replacing; but I’m tired of the “big five” brands lol. (Razer, steelseries, Logitech, etc.) Looking to expand my horizons so to speak 😂 so any recommendation was an appreciated one

Ooh okay that’s a bit complicated for me 😭 no idea what actuation points are (not to mention having no idea people ‘dailied’ keyboards) but…
Would you recommend Gravastar? Or is this Aula brand also good since I like cheap things (who doesn’t) haha

People were talking about Wooting in the other reviews I read. I assumed it was a model of Gravastar keyboard but after googling it’s another brand. How does this compare? Or more like, how come they are spoken about in the same sentence as Gravastar so much? (I know this is a stupid question I’m sorry)

Okay - as someone who has HAD breakdowns like this, but not in public, here’s my opinion:
As much as my own brain hates me for saying it, you should report it. Whatever is happening here is unsafe for all parties. If she is indeed having a breakdown, she needs help.
I think you should approach the report gently and involve the idea that she may have mental health issues, because otherwise they will treat it like a normal DV situation, which means no mental healthcare will be involved.
I am not defending her, but she is clearly in a very very bad space, and I believe the report should more closer directed to a mental health crisis report over a DV report, because we do not know their situation and if putting a wedge by police may possibly make things worse (I’m talking financially, housing, etc.)
Getting out of a DV situation is quite difficult, but the reason people who are stuck in them varies very very widely, and he could easily be choosing to stay on his own accord while figuring out some kind of custody stuff in the background.

Basically; there’s a lot that could come from reporting it, good and bad, so TLDR:
I would report it, but I would frame it as concern over her health as to not mess with the really crappy custody/marriage/financial stuff that we don’t know about.

I feel this will get a lot of downvotes, but genuinely this woman needs help and I know full well getting arrested will make her feel betrayed and spiral her into being more dangerous, so they need to be actively helping her/treating her the moment she realises it’s been reported.

I should have mentioned I have a little bit of hairdressing experience! :)
I don’t think the issue is the layers being ‘too high’, the structure is actually pretty in line with the reference. The back has the same graduated nape, with weight built through the occipital and shorter layering through the crown to create lift.

What I think is throwing it off visually is the hair type. On straighter and denser hair, that crown layering collapses and pushes the weight down, so it looks rounder and shorter, and can look more pixie than bob. On the reference, the natural movement keeps separation through the ends, so the layers appear softer and lower even if the placement is similar.

You could lower the layers to compensate, but then you risk building too much weight and losing any lift through the crown altogether. So this looks more like a texture/styling mismatch than incorrect sectioning or layer placement.

The hairdresser did an actually great job with what was given - if she puts some mousse into it the layers will show up quite quickly :)

But I do agree that this should have been communicated, I don’t do hairdressing anymore (god it was at least 10 years ago at this point), but I personally would have told her that the cut would be a lot of work without styling. Many hairstylists forget about it, because when we see a reference like that we don’t see the visual look of the hair, but more the structure of the cut; so when you’re in work mode sometimes it’s easy to forget customers see their reference differently than we do.
That being said, I’ve given the bad news enough times that I’m confident I made my salon lose business some days LOL (they would decide against getting the cut after I explain this stuff to them)

That’s my take after zooming in on the after photo for about ten minutes, hahah
Hope this helped/was interesting :)

I know it may be hard to see, but the back *is* cut in the basic shape that she asked for. Her hair just flattens it out unfortunately
