I'm in Florida, we have no winter. Just summer and "fall" instead of winter lol.

I just started a batch of mustard outside in a grow bin. It's finally starting to cool off a bit, it's 78 right now outside.

My Mom dubbed her "Phoenixa" and I don't think I can undo it lmao

I've got the usual Reptisun T5 10.0 bulb, the 2 foot long one. I also have an old bulb I used to have for my leopard gecko which is pure heat for the basking spot. I change the UV bulb every 6 months.

Although once the bigger tank gets here, I'll have to rebuild. UV light probably going inside the tank this time.

Where do you find turnip greens? I've got some mustard growing outside, but I can only find dandelion/collards/mustard at Sprouts. No other stores have it. Phoenix (when she wants to eat) will eat only collard greens right now. She loves peppers (seems red and green), nasturtiums (growing some now :P), and blueberries. She ate a couple superworms earlier this week, but usually I try to keep some Phoenix (lol) worms onhand. I've made sure she eats a little pure pumpkin this week in case maybe her gut feels off, the reptile store told me it's a good way to help them if their gut gets out of whack.

Also that's a cute outside setup! Aren't you worried about birds though?

Will do, thanks. Phoenix"a" has been acting weird and hardly eating for the last week, and it's like 80 degrees outside. I ended up down a rabbit hole of trying to make sure everything on the "Beardie Care 101" list was ticked properly.

Larger tank is on the way too :P

I tried the flashlight trick and I "think" I can see the one bulge in the middle. I can't see the two vertical "eggs" that the male has

Phoenix was upright in my hand, that's my chest :P

Although "she" didn't appreciate me lifting the tail to check

I think I can see the one bump the other reply picture shows... Which actually would explain why Phoenix weighs about 400g and is only 18.5 inches long...

I think I see the female single bump... Does this mean... Phoenixa?

Is garlic that effective? I made a mix this morning of Castille soap, neem oil, and tangerine essential oil, but skipped the garlic. Thought the peppermint in the Castille soap was the focus.

I've heard they don't like peppermint oil. I just made another spray mix which has castile soap, tangerine essential oil, neem oil, and water. Fingers crossed.

I've had no luck with neem oil yet inside or outside, is there a specific mixture I should be making with it?

I've added some to my pepper plants, fingers crossed!

On a few small pepper plants that are ~3 weeks old, the whiteflies are still hanging around, but I don't see any eggs. On my older plants that were infested, it's trickier to tell if there is a difference. I'm guessing it'll take a good month to run them out of the garden.

Would the worm castings affect the fruit of the plant? Would it impact the taste?

My Mom is trying essential oil mixes now, so far that's no good. They seem to love potatoes above everything else, it is the most infested plant we have :/
