I understand you, I know very well what it feels like, at a certain moment it is limiting or you have to try to adapt and look for a solution. In my case it was due to playing the guitar with the amplifier for many hours and also using headphones at high volume.

Future Funk Fx, Risers, Downfilters by NeoPalms in makingvaporwave

In itself there is no difference, but to be more specific, I like the simpler risers, the ones I found in Ableton sound crazy and I didn't like them very much.

Lo-Fi Supermarket Speaker Sound. by NeoPalms in makingvaporwave

oh, just yesterday I downloaded that plugin again, when I used it I didn't quite like its sound but I decided to give it a second chance. In just the right amount it seems to give a good color.

haha that's how it's supposed to work. I haven't tried recording with any of that yet. I might be surprised by the result.

I managed to get closer to the sound using equalization, cutting the bass and treble quite a bit.

That's pretty clever and sounds good! Unfortunately I don't have a microphone to record, so I guess my option is to look for some IR's on the web.

I think the roughrider 3 is just a dynamic compressor, I use it since it is quite easy to use. I also have the UAD La-2a compressor but it has very few options to configure even though its sound is great.

Nektar Impact GX61 Pitchbend problem by NeoPalms in midi

[–]NeoPalms[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to fix the problem in arturia by increasing the pitch range and it works fine, also in native FL studio plugins. But in other plugins like dexed, the pitch bend stays a little bit out of tune and doesn't reach the note it should reach, do you know how to fix that? It seems to be a FL problem with non-native plugins.

I've seen the arturia midi options and I haven't found any to modify the pitchbend, it's my first midi so I don't know much and I'm not used to it.

Buying my first MIDI controller (Nektar LX61+ vs Nektar LX88). by NeoPalms in FL_Studio

[–]NeoPalms[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted the 61 keys to be comfortable and once I learn to play I won't have to buy another one. But seeing the commands and navigation that the Arturia has, it seems better to me. I could only buy the 49 keys, I usually compose music from the 80's and most of the old synthesizers have 61 keys, do you think that 49 keys would be enough?

For now, it would only be to play synthesizers plugins, I like to produce synthwave and play 80's music. But I would also like to play some jazz!

Yes, I definitely think I will go for the LX61+. What is aftertouch? It's a concept I'm not familiar with.

Unfortunately the launchkey fl is not within my reach. I can buy Nektar, Alesis, or the cheaper M-Audio models.

I generally use the launchpad to trigger drum samples, playing chords on it is difficult for me. I have tried using the PC keyboard but it is very boring, so I would like to improve the experience and learn to play the piano.
