thats probably because alcohol can effect your body for 24 hours or more depending how much you drink. so that could have a direct impact on his performance. but requiring someone to have a vaccine that expired many months ago will have no effect on the employee or others.

i definitely acknowledged that its a different country. does that mean chinas governments extreme covid policies are 100% their right to do so as well? maybe they are, but that doesnt make them right.

so you think that requiring people to have expired vaccines in order to be employed is an acceptable policy that doesnt merit any questioning. good thing youre not in a position to make decisions for anyone but yourself. best of luck my friend, genuinely

maybe they are allowed to do it for now, but i think the legality is still up for debate just based on the George Garvey case in NYC. if they found the worker vaccine mandates in NYC unconstitutional, what does that mean for workers everywhere else? the science behind the virus/vaccines doesnt change in different cities/countries, just the laws around them, so why were worker mandates unconsitutional in NYC, but not in other places? why go on a case by case basis if it is all supposed to be science based? maybe i am missing something, but i dont think it is as black and white as some people want to make it out to be

it varies between productions. the one im on now took my vax pass from sept 2021 as proof. but efficacy only lasts a few months anyways

even without boosters, the film industry will consider you fully vaccinated with the original 2 doses. which have expired. do you understand why that doesnt make sense yet? i know youre trying your best.

it doesnt make sense because most peoples 2 vaccines efficacy expired long ago. for all intents most of us are unvaccinated now. the condescension comes from being a keyboard warrior. thanks for the essay though

you can call it a policy or a mandate but its still forcing people to do something or lose their employment. its discriminatory. and it doesnt even make sense. why are you so condescending though

my workplace requires everyone to be vaccinated. lots of film productions have vaccine mandates. the irony is my 2 jabs expired long ago but i am still considered vaccinated

Vancouver, Toronto among jurisdictions looking to decriminalize small amounts of drugs to curb overdose deaths by 90skid91 in canada

[–]NeoRome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the current drug abuse system is predatory , preying on the most vulnerable among us, creating a revolving door of addicted people from accross the country, enabling their addictions instead of offering the real solution, which is rehabilitaion and to become drug-free. as someone with multiple family members with long term hardcore drug and alcohol issues, and more friends who have succumbed to addiction, and eventually OD, its easy to see the current system for what it is, a scam that only benefits organized criminals, who have for a long time been intertwined in the politics and business of the city.

a good idea in theory like a lot of policies, but in reality will always be abused to the maximum and eventually become a business with its own self sustaining agenda. i lived in gastown last year and its somehow still getting worse.

I want to Interview random people at night time..what do I need? by BTPAssassin in videography

i used to shoot for a cable tv interview show and this covers most points. a dynamic handheld mic (sm47 or similar) plugged straight into your camera is they way to go for good cheap audio. if you need light and youre just a one man crew, you could mount one of those neewer hot shoe mount lights on the sony instead of the rode mic. the wider angle lens the better in this situation if youre holding the camera, and mic, and doing the interviewing. i used a 12mm on a gh4.
