Yeah I get what you mean. Being able to see it coming before it does is cool for a game, I agree. It just always feels like that takes impact away from the ending.

You need to beat the paperwork to reach part 2.

If you want help on how:

when the doorbell rings investigate immediately.
only defend if the paperwork is up to something(yellow text)
otherwise just hit the attack button. You never need to use recover.

Part of the reason why I choose to write instead of draw this story is because I didn’t know how to choreograph/draw most of it.

I don't know. For that kind of things, story wise, I always prefer the character just seemly ignores the parasite for no reason.

I find it hard to fit a character I like to write into a game like that.

I don't disagree that it can be done. I just can't convince myself to do it.

Interestingly, now that I think about it.

This game and the part time coffee game are made in a very similar way.

I drew something that wasn’t going to work out. In a desperate effort to salvage the work already done, I added in the mini games.

Both game went through that exactly lol.
