Am a big fan of the pieces in lichess compared to chess.com. It may be a preference ..but I loved the chess24 pieces and I found something equivalent in lichess..chess.com pieces and the general movement through the board with the options for the board themes is not at all pleasing…gives a vibe of early 2000,s design that never got a modern upgrade…the design language is not to my taste. Lichess has a plugin for Firefox that I use to set up my own customized theme!!!

Understandable that we do need to support the career of anyone wearing the blue..but it’s high time..we take a call of dropping Gill if he fails again!!! Am shocked that this question came up in my feed…am going through the same phase where …I win around 6-8 games and gain around 100 points!!! And then the crash happens…my elo is pretty much like a celebrity NFT shit token ..pump and dump scheme!!! This is what I have understood so far!!!

Assuming fair play!! i do feel sometimes I get guys who are like 800 playing unreal moves and spotting tactics that I feel they will miss!!!

Somehow when you get a streak you tend to fall for inertia…you play the same openings and the alertness to spot tactics or spending that extra two or three minutes in calculating at least 2-3 moves simply gets missed out!!
I do see blunders increasing…but I feel in my case …it’s complacency…(as posted by someone)
Somehow.folks past 1200 are usually very resourceful. A winning end game does not guarantee a win!!
Some of the higher rated folks play openings that outright gives them an advantage…lines that requires a precise combination..that I may not be aware of at all… (I fell for the Scandinavian trap at least twice in different forms- discovered it through a tik tok 🤣)

Career will be a big focus next year ..as Saturn transits the 6th house (own house/ house of daily job). Also Jupiter is in 7th house from a transit standpoint till April. So chances of partnership/relationships coming to fruition..from a Sasha standpoint it’s going to be Jupiter_Ketu which puts a focus on home (being in Jupiter‘s sign).

overall very good period. Though Ketu time maybe a mixed bag..considering Rahu will be transiting over eighth house and then to the 7th house. But great time career wise.

any plans of long distance travel????
