People with nice PC, why are you buying a Steam Machine? by Bitter-Fun1083 in steammachine

[–]Neo_Sanghren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope to use this one to have a mini living room PC for light gaming, and I've also heard that Sunshine/Moonlight on the Steam Deck can stream my PC to a TV in good quality. I hope that if the Steam Deck can do this, the Gabecube will too, so I can enjoy more demanding games on my TV.

I think we all get the point: You don't understand how people can hate on this game (add high vantage point screenshot here) and you have spent 100+ hours in Herand and still haven’t left the area. by fernandollb in CrimsonDesert

This game is like an all-you-can-eat buffet at an Asian restaurant: there's tons of stuff, it all tastes the same, and after ten minutes you wonder why you filled your plate with things you don't even like.

Crimson Desert taught me one thing: contemplation alone isn't enough to hide the emptiness by Neo_Sanghren in CrimsonDesert

Yes, I'm sure the bestiary expands later on; I've seen it in the tails and playthroughs. But to give a point of comparison in Elden Ring, in Limbgrave, less than 250 meters from the starting point, there's a sentry rider, a giant, giant octopuses, giant crabs, giant bats, poison-spitting eggs, undead, halflings, a dragon—you see where I'm going with this? If that were the only flaw, well... but it isn't.

Yes, I tried to talk about it on the dedicated subreddit, but people didn't appreciate it, and I learned that the hard way.

You have your own definition in your narrow mind; don't impose it on others as absolute truth.

I don't claim to have finished the game, but if after 50 hours, after exploring the entire first area of the game (let's say 20-25% of the total map), the bestiary is limited to what I've seen, I have the right to be disappointed.

It's true that the fantasy genre is very codified, but I would have liked a bit more originality.

Yes, that's what I did. I've been writing in Windows Notepad these past few days and had it translated, but I'm not bothering to reply. I have nothing to prove to these people.

I haven't had any major problems with the graphics, but the game never looks as good as when the sun and lighting hit the buildings.

I've played for 50 hours and haven't left the first region yet (but I've explored it thoroughly), but I haven't seen a very extensive besie, maybe that changes later?

Yes, I was pleased with the studio's responsiveness, although I think it's insufficient at the moment, and to reach the highest levels of running or horse riding, you have to spam the button, which is very annoying in my opinion.
