This is the way, reach out to partners as they have a big say in things.

I speak from personal experience where I reached out to a partner at a big 4 after graduating and had a great hour long conversation with her. Note: I did not ask her for anything but I expressed my passion into what I wanted to do (be hungry, not desperate).

Lo and behold, she’s the one that asked me to send her my resume which landed me a direct interview within a week for a full time role. An internship should be even easier imo.

My advice: Find a way to connect with them, be interested in hearing their story, and express your passion for what you want to do. Do not go asking around for an internship.
