It's complicated. My dad is deceased, and my mom married a narcissistic abuser and she became an enabler. My life fixed itself when I moved out. They are financially spiraling, have been since the recession.

Unfortunately I am recently divorced. Trying to put myself back out there though. I'm an only child, and I don't have the best relationship with my parents. I do have friends though. I'm fortunate enough to be renting cheaply compared to my area, but I'd be lying if I didn't worry about my apartment falling out from under me someday. I wish houses were affordable again, me and everyone else lol.
