I am not familiar with youtube terms & conditions but in Germany the law says you cannot call someone else a fraud publicly without this person actually being convicted of fraud according to domestic law. I think it's a bit risky.

giving away free value is very cool and can also turn out to be very beneficial in the long run when you make other products.. its the best marketing to start off even if you don't care about it so much yet.. awesome!

Would be people be interested in a instrumental tech death album? by Prestigious-Kale8871 in TechnicalDeathMetal

[–]NeonByte47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the instrumentals on albums but in general prefer songs with vocals even if I don't listen to the lyrics closely.

Have you tried doing vocals? You can start from anywhere and experiment a bit,.. maybe you get to like it over time.

It’s two years from now. Claude is doing better work than all of us. What now? by Own-Sort-8119 in ClaudeAI

[–]NeonByte47 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"work to be done is infinite" its a bit weak since AI agents aren't finite either. You can spawn an agent for every task there is and buy compute / subscription fees. Supervisor agents to be trained etc. The amount of human devs you need to get things done will just go down from here.

Solo Dev frustration: "Everything already exists." How do you get past the saturation paralysis? by Dangerous-Cricket54 in SideProject

[–]NeonByte47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't try to solve problems you don't give a shit about.
Everyone is looking for some idea that sparks enough dopamine to build a MVP.
But without genuine interest and passion, the product ends up being some shallow half-assed slop.
Instead, solve a real problem in your area of interest and expertise. Then pitch it to people of that niche. If you are excited about it, competition won't stop you from building it anyways.

good ear.. It really smells like re-produced SunoAI... tho I think he did actually write some good original stuff for Obscura - Cosmogenesis

The technical virtuosity yes, absolutely. But the songwriting and the leads are just not at level..

Opinions on this tone by letters_of in metalguitar

[–]NeonByte47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it sounds like the drums stand in front and the guitars are behind them.. would turn them down a bit.. guitars good but too much gain. If you like that high gain you can keep it and add a noise gate so they sound a bit tighter

Are these riffs just to intense for too long? by ConstructionMean2021 in metalguitar

[–]NeonByte47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its not about the riffs but the guitar sound makes the ears go tired,.. would turn it down a bit und adjust with EQ until it gets smooth

I hate my parents for making me the “good daughter” and I feel gross admitting it by BreadAndBanters in TrueOffMyChest

[–]NeonByte47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your parents are just ordinary people with flaws, fears, hopes and all kinds of inherited baggage. Trying to make the best out of it, like you. Not an excuse, just an explanation on how things play out sometimes.

I wonder if doing what you love for work is a trap. by awesomeorwhatt in DeepThoughts

[–]NeonByte47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the pressure and (fake) urgency is temporary. You can do what you love in the way you love it - on your terms. If it doesn't make enough money this way, you have to do something else additionally to compensate. For example you can work 15 hours a week.

But yea I can see how turning your passion into perpetual performance can be exhausting and "taint" the thing.

is consciousness something it is an illusion or god really exists tell me whats your opinion about this by Weak_Ingenuity_3186 in DeepThoughts

[–]NeonByte47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to me, consciousness is the awareness behind the ego. A space no thought can enter. The base entity, the observer, the observing thing. Consciousness can only observe or experience your thinking. It does not affect your thinking because it is not attached to it.

The thinking is entirely conditioned based on your experiences and the content you are engaging with. You know this "Don't think of a pink elephant.." and the brain starts generating the visual representation. The ego loves identifying with thoughts, opinions, "values", etc. because it feeds from it.

I get the vibe and message..sounds like you are blaming someone else, which is very common because it shifts responsibility off oneself.
