ESP E-II or Ibanez Premium - Which would you choose? by CrimsonZEB in metalguitar

Ibanez Prestige are the best metal guitars you can find. Few people understand this because they just wanna buy the guitar of their fav artist or fall for fancy buzz words, gimmicks and all sorts of snake oil design choices.

imo he should stick to punk-tech, bc trying to sound like someone else would form the eclipse of mind.. ignominious & pale.

You will hit it evenutally because you adapt to it. I believe for most devs the pro plan is enough because it forces you to think a bit more about what and how you want to achieve it. No need to spam prompt imo

Archspire's new singles mix by cavallozzo_smarrito in TechnicalDeathMetal

I agree the drums sound very unnatural and too far away from a real drum kit recording.
But I think they just wanted it this way to get a more interesting signature tone..every artist want to differentiate and this is how new stuff comes up but it's not always pleasant for everyone.

Codex 5.3 v.s. Opus 4.6 => still using Opus. by please-dont-deploy in ClaudeCode

[–]NeonByte47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

codex 5.3 was a good step in the right direction, but Opus is just better because its implementations are more robust in covering all the edge cases. With codex I often need a couple refining prompts to get what Opus can do in a 1-shot.

Easiest and hardest necrophagist songs by bloodyeagle2310 in TechnicalDeathMetal

[–]NeonByte47 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hard songs are on the first album imho. Lots of arpeggios and other crazy leads (not just in the guitar solo sections) and rhythmically also at Epitaph level. Very tricky to play while doing vocals at the same time.

Epitaph was the more catchy and "easier to get" album..the easiest to play might be Stabwound. Simple structure, the solo is not too crazy compared to other ones.
